Given all the talk of about North Korea and Iran possibly having nuclear weapons, watch and learn. As an added bonus, many of the tips may be helpful if the zombie apocalypse occurs first. Oh, and some words in the video may be NSFW, depending upon where you work.

The genuine ones from the 50’s are so much funnier.
I’m Australian, and this is awful. I’m sorry to the world that someone here thought that this would be funny.
Face/palm
Why would anyone nuke Australia?
I learned in grade school in Cleveland in 1946 that in case of an atomic attack,to put your head between your knees… and kiss your ass goodby.
Kind of funny.
The question I think most Americans will face is how do you make a go of it when the dollar has become so debased it no longer can be used to buy anything of value.
# 4 dcphill said,”I learned in grade school in Cleveland in 1946 that in case of an atomic attack…”
That was a pretty forward thinking school since no one else had a nuclear weapon until 1949!
Good advice none-the-less. I always wondered – who in their right mind would WANT to survive an all out nuclear war?
#3 To stop anyone else making videos such as this one.
That was a pretty good laugh. Thanks for the find John.
Wow, and here I was thinking the best way to survive a Nuclear Apocalypse was not get into one in the first place.
Little did I know surviving one would be so much fun!
I don’t want to survive a nuclear war, nor any other holocaust event. That’s why I keep my old .38 and a couple of cartridges.
I am not sure what is NSFW about this – other than the fact that all non-work is NSFW!
On Amazon they have a collection of the authentic old Civil Defense Films, “Coldwar Hysteria”. Funny and sometime chilling, and mostly naive….
Gotta love the arcade video game they chose in the beginning of the film… Missile Command.
The only really odd thing about this is that is pretends to be an Aussie film, but he uses the term “Gasoline” instead of “petrol”.
Thanks for the humour. Love it too bits more please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@dvdchris
And how would you be able to tell?
Off topic but doesn’t it annoy you when posts say “NSFW”? I mean, what the hell are you doing surfing sites like that when you are at work? Isn’t it sort of apparent then why people are losing jobs? If you have so much spare time then you are clearly not necessary for the workforce at your job so why does the company need you? Imagine if corporate really went through the employees and checked which ones are really “working”, I think the unemployment numbers would be closer to 25% in the USA.
I have a pamphlet about building effective fallout shelters and stashing the right kinds of foods, etc. Fun stuff, written by the gov’t iirc. I picked it up at the 1977 National Boy Scout Jamboree.
There would be NO SURVIVORS !!! As has been said: “The living will envy the DEAD !”
Read the Novel or re-run the movie “On the Beach” !!!
