I read that thinking it was going to be a remake of Conan the Barbarian. I forgot about ‘O Brian.
Wow. Great reminder of how American TV is that much incredibly crappier than Brazilian TV. I might as well just sell or give away my set. There is never anything good on anyway.

I watched it last night, and I really enjoyed it. I hope he does well, and draws lots of viewers away from the other stations. (Except the Daily Show and Colbert Report, as I enjoy them as well, and can watch Conan right after them here in Canada)
Never really liked his humor but am glad he got a new show. I watched it last night and the opening was pretty good. Lots of potshots at NBC. “Welcome to my second annual first show!” “Wow, that [applause] lasted longer than my last job!” But, as soon as the guests started showing up, it was just the same tired old talk show format. I’d hoped for something new and exciting.
Never thought he was funny. But he was a lot funnier than Leno could ever hope to be.

Funny guy, especially the part with Larry King. The hit men scene was done before, though, by SCTV in its hilarious “Godfather” spoof.
