Poor old Blind Steve Wynn is just bitter because he’s losing his eyesight and his ex-wife took half his money. I know several people who have worked for his casinos and all hate him and his regime. Their latest scam is to force the dealers to split their tips with management. He’s going to Macau for half the time so he can dodge taxes. The only thing I agree with him on is that he absolutely hates having kids in his casinos. I think he banned strollers on the night the Wynn opened. Other than that he’s pretty much a typical Vegas executive scumbag. You are nothing to those types unless your picture is hanging on the wall in the back of the house. The workers are just considered expendable fodder.
I believe Vegas casinos enjoy one of the lowest tax rates of all casinos in the United States. There is so much that needs to be funded here in town and if you even mention a very minuscule tax rate increase these guys scream bloody murder then head out of town (or country) on their private jets to hobnob with their new friendly communist buddies. These super rich Rushpublicans suddenly don’t mind communism, especially when it benefits them. This town is really turning into a shithole and I can’t wait to leave it. When (not if) the lake dries up or California legalizes gambling then Vegas will dry up and crumble like the turd that it is.
