The media is letting itself be used as a football by Obama. They would never have taken this sort of abuse off Bush nor should they take if off anyone.

Mattis was one of few who were thought to be under consideration to be the next Commandant of the Marine Corps, but given the highly political nature of the job, he’s too outspoken to have been chosen. Especially with this whole “Don’t ask don’t tell” business still undecided, Gates and Mullen want a CMC who will play along; considering the current CMC, Gen. Conway, openly said he didn’t want to change the status quo.

2. The current economic stimulus efforts are all too little, too late.
3. Pollution of our land, ground water and agricultural future is at unprecedented levels.
4. Nukes are missing.

DOOMS DAY STARTED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 80’S.
When corps were no longer satisfied with What they were getting.
It started in 1970, when the corp tax was changed. It WAS that ALL profits wee TAXED at 70-80%. so that getting MORE, wasnt always the BEST THING.
By the 80’s the NEW managers started finding that they could REALLY MAKE MONEY. They didnt NEED to show that it was ALL used up in expenses.
MORE profits, made MORE stock holders, MORE stock holders, MADE ??? more money? more money went into investments to cover for MORE profits(and to hide the money)..
They had many laws changed, and MORE profits could be had, and ARE..at 0-10% TAX. MORe and MORE profits for FEWER people..

Profit margins werent 10-20% of the PRICE..
they ARE 300-1000% of the price.
BEFORE the 80’s, the profit margin on a car, was $1000-5000..NOW the min profit is $10,000 on the CHEAPEST car.
