Google Voice is not open to the whole world – just the US.

    What MikeR said …

I was clickin’ so fast to get started !! No go from Canada.

Given the duopoly in the ISP/Phone biz here in the Great White North, the ILECs and the BDUs (incumbant phone & cable co’s) are going to have something to say about this.

And to them, “bite me !!”, I say.

Since you asked: I get my weather from the Web. You would too if you had the great weather forecast and weather map collection that I have. I don’t listen to Pandora daily, but I sure like it.

  7. Glenn E. says:

“Old ladies” probably do drive better, now, compared to all the younger idiots who drive around distracted by their cellphones. Phones that the older ladies don’t have. But they’re trying to make this sound like an age/wisdom issue. When it’s really just a technological dependency issue. Younger drivers, particularly women, can’t live without that cellphone glued to their ear all day long, everywhere they go. While most older drivers can’t see the need for these things. Or GPS devices, or very loud car stereo systems, or car DVD players.
