When, and only when, adobe can unbloat their reader down to under 5Mb is when I might start using it again instead of the far superior Foxit.
As for a google tablet, I’m already using one. Works just fine for the few things I’d ever want to use a tablet-device for even though its got an older version of android on it.
At least it has a file manager, USB port and SD card slot unlike a certain other FADlet tablet, so its actually useful.
#1. There is no such thing as true google tablet. The first Android tablet profile won’t be out until the fall with ‘gingerbread’. You have an android phone with a big screen at best – which probably sucks.
The fact that Google has been using Windows shows their “commitment” to Linux has only ever been opportunistic. They want the freebies, not the ideology.
#2 How about he likes his tablet with a small screen. You can buy what you want.
#2 I’m aware its not a tablet from google itself, but it is a tablet, it runs google android, and it works surprisingly well for the price, certainly better than the iFad when you take its sell-your-liver price into the deal.
Jobs is just hoping that people stop needing to do work on a “computer” and just use one as an entertainment centre…
