The producers have stated they won’t answer every question that’s been raised if for no other reason that that would take a twelve hour show. On the other hand, much has been answered during the last month. What do you think will happen as one of the most intelligent, densely packed mystery and unique science fiction shows ever ends? Whatever happens, I just hope it doesn’t wimp out like BSG did.
If you need to catch up with the show, here’s the episode guide at Lostpedia, the amazing resource on every conceivable, cross indexed detail about the show.
They will live happily ever after.
Never saw the show as too involved.
TV is suppose to be down time or see what is herding the sheep.
The actors and actresses will get acting jobs on other shows.
Jack will die, turn in to a good smoke monster… Fight Locke. Hurley will take over. Kate and Sawer live on the beach.
“What do you think will happen as one of the most intelligent, densely packed mystery and unique science fiction shows ever ends?” //// It was? Damn, why after 4-5 shows of people being spooked by tree leaves rustling, and “forces” acting from no where and invisibly did I give up on it as poorly written crap????
Uncle Dave==did you actually watch this show and gain this opinion or are you just passing it along?
If “somehow” it got better, there are always reruns.
With the aid of Hugo or Milo’s ghost whispering talents, John will finally “let go,” opening the door for NBC to make up some of the ground lost by the Leno debacle..
#5: Watched every single episode. Pick an episode at random from Lostpedia and see how detailed, interconnected and complex the storyline is. As someone who has attempted to write film scripts, I am in awe of what they’ve done. Perfect? No. But vastly better than 99.9% of everything else.
#8–Thanks Dave. Thats high praise indeed. Intricate plotting usually catches my attention too but that can’t be the only thing?
From the few shows I saw, was the show actually driven by the “mysteries” of what was in the interior of the island.
And I’m remembering what is a total turn off for me in any circumstance and that is “magic” and how anything can be explained in or out by the vagaries of magic/the unknown. Seems to me at least the first 3-4 shows relied on things moving thru the trees and being up in the air and what not in ways that were just unacceptably unhinged from reality.
But you liked it. Do you read Dickens for the same reason?
I think it will run 15 mins past the allotted time just to screw all the Tivo users.
It looked like they were making stuff up as they go along. Only in the last few years did they seem to settle on a plotline. They had a little bit of an idea early on, but either the networks forced them elsewhere, or they were just throwing in new things all the time. I want to see them try and mix Walt into things, and the polar bear.
I have to say I tried to watch the first season, but came to the conclusion that the writers were under the influence of those funny mushrooms.
Next season, spawn a new show called: Found!
It will all turn out to be an autistic child dream.
I watched most of this season and some of last season. I still don’t know what’s happening.
Why don’t they just get Gilligan to build them a radio out of a coconut?
I too felt that much of the story between Year 1 and this season was simply made up as they went along. This show may have been better as a 9-hour mini-series.
Yeah, what about Walt? It seemed like he was going to be a very important character. All of a sudden he is off the island and hasn’t had a real presence on the show since… the middle of season 2 maybe. I am willing to bet that they had bigger things planned for the Walt character but factors having nothing to do with art changed their plans.
I agree that this show did a superb job holding the attention of it’s viewers and always gave fans something to talk about at the water cooler. It has been one of the best, if not the best TV series in this past decade.
Bob Newhart will wake up in bed, roll over and tell Suzanne Pleachet that he just had the weirdest dream.
Who cares? I mean, really, who cares?
Lost was the best, most intricate sci-fi show ever on commercial TV. I’ll miss it.
people will **FINALLY** stop talking about it….
rah rah!

Thank you. Watched the first two or three episodes, then saw it turn into a friggin’ soap opera. What plot line?
I’ll take Nova for content. If I want to watch bad acting, I’ll tune into CSI Miami.
Victoria Principle will find Patrick Duffy alive in the shower, and every thing previously seen will be a dream.
A Russian satellite will crash into the island. They will use parts to help them escape from the island.
After they return to civilisation, The Russians will come after them for the parts of the satellite they still have and there will be a struggle that all ends well and they go back to the island for a reunion and get stranded again.

Why ask questions you’re not going to answer?
It will become a “Twilight Zone” — everyone on the island will be together on the beach in a big climactic scene and we’ll hear an off-screen voice yell “Cut!” and everyone will look around in confusion and say things like “What are those cameras doing here?” and “Who are you people?”
