(CNN) — It was just days after the release of the iPad — Apple’s slate computer heralded as a tool for gaming, book and magazine reading and Web consumption — when the announcement arrived.
One of the world’s biggest porn companies claimed it had created a way to stream its videos onto the device, skipping the Apple store and its restrictions on salacious content.
The announcement illustrates a widely acknowledged but seldom-spoken truth of the technology world: Whenever there’s a new content platform, the adult-entertainment industry is one of the first to adopt it — if they didn’t help create it in the first place.
Apple will not be very happy about this. Software upgrade coming.

There’s already an app for porn on the iPad, and Apple wrote it. It’s called “Safari” . . . there are tons of sites out there that format video so it can be played on iPhones or iPads.
#3 has it. You can of course use Opera to do the same thing so that’s two porn enabled aps.

Why should Apple, or somebody Else’s church, determine what content I decide to watch. If it is unconstitutional to stop freedom of speech then they are violating the constitution in doing so.

So… How exactly can Apple change anything? They can only control “apps” not web sites. If it’s porn on a website, then I will be able to see it on an iPad.
Apple is not going to censor what I see on the web.. I’ll move to Australia for that “convenience.”
