    Right on!

  2. deowll says:

Its kind of early as yet but I must admit I don’t expect to see many plays like that.

  3. LDA says:

Brilliant, and I don’t even watch baseball.

  4. BubbaRay says:

That’s one of the most amazing plays I’ve ever seen. Just incredible. The manager who tried to argue that the runner was tagged was hilarious.

  5. Dallas says:

Awesome. I can do that if I wanted to.

This video shows why sports is still better than politics.

Anyone who truly enjoys this video might be interested to learn that today, Thursday, April 22, 2010, the Pittsburgh Pirates were defeated by the Milwaukee Brewers, 20-0. This was the Pirates worst performance in the teams 124-year history. HOWEVER, tomorrow is another day, and this game will continue to give fans lots of great memories. If only our politicians could do the same.

  7. BmoreBadBoy says:

Even if he was tagged out, you’ve got to give him the run based on sheer ingenuity, athleticism and cojones!

  8. Olo Baggins of Bywater says:

IMO Mark Beuhrle has the play of the year so far, but this is pretty good.

#6….as a Detroit Lions fan, I feel your pain.

  9. Mac Guy says:

Speaking as an umpire… Good call, Blue!

  10. Chris Mac says:

you can’t tag out a runner with your elbow.. even if contact was made, it needs to be with ball in glove or hand.. good call ump

  11. Uncle Patso says:

I love minor league ball — those guys still play with passion!

  12. yankinwaoz says:

    Wow!
Is that a AAA league game?

  13. The0ne says:

Wow! I didn’t expect that flip at all lol. Amazing agility. Bravo. 🙂 And thanks for the clip!

  14. BrimstoneAshe says:

Great play, but I’m with #8 – Buehrle’s play on opening day is still my favorite of the year so far.

  15. Sofa Guru says:

Reminds me of players in Japan who have been known to do gymnastic stunts, such as cartwheels etc.

(especially on their way to the plate after a homer).
