  1. Mick Hamblen says:

I trust Rachel more than that jackass Curry and I am offended by her depiction as a vampire. PaulT you are a jerk.

  2. Gilgamesh says:

I agree with what Mick Hamblen said. Well, at least right up to the word “and.” I’m not terribly offended, per se.

  3. richard says:

Well yeah. I knew big oil was behind you deniers! 😀

  4. TThor says:

    Mick Hamblen – up yours!

  5. Heinrich Moltke says:

Funny how easily Rachel Maddow can be turned into a vampire. She looks the part.

To Mick Hamblen, if he’s not in the noble business of trolling: Go back to your kiddie porn. Why trust someone whose explicit purpose is to give you one skewed view of the news?

Of course, it’s lonely not belonging to one of these political subcultures with all their cultural markers: “conservatives” with their authority fetish, their tribal nationalism, their desire to control; “liberals” with their self-loathing, their interest in social engineering, their desire to control. And you get the cool membership badges for each: guns, monochrome Protestant suits, and pickup trucks; eco-bottles, urban grungewear, and smart cars.

There have been times when people responded to principled thinking in this country, as opposed to thinking-by-proxy or groupthink. Now’s not one of those times.

  6. bobbo, international pastry chef and social engineer says:

#5–Heinrich==well done. I’ve enjoyed Rachel on her tv show. Breath of fresh air I thought so I wondered how you would paint her according to “liberal stereotypes” and I think you made a discussable point.

But are liberal “self loathing” or is that a conservative epithet you have been lulled into thinking?

Same with “social engineering.” Is trying to free one’s self from the prejudice of being gay bashed an example of social engineering or really something else?

Now, desire to control. Hmmmm. Doesn’t anyone offering an opinion on what laws are needed subject to that very meaningless cover phrase?

No–you made a nice pirouette but I think you are trying to equate obfuscation with the untwisting that reporting the truth requires.

    How am I wrong?

  7. abc says:

#1 Mick Hamblen – I design according to what i hear… live. If you don’t like the artwork I am sorry. It is to be taken with a pinch of salt and humor 🙂 Don’t take it too seriously – right wing or left wing. I can’t appease everyone!

    Cheers
    Paul T

  8. NetPierre says:

Great show and great album-art, as ever.
    Nuff said.

  9. Todd Peterson says:
