George Bush was in many ways a joke but Obama is going to join Jimmy Carter and Lyndon Johnson on my list of staggeringly bad Presidents.

  2. Dirk Thundernuts says:

Yeah, I miss him – just like the ex-wife. What a fuckwit.

#21 — It is amazing that some people thought there was going to be change, but to state that Obama is a bad president is taking things out of context.

    Obama was the only choice.

The choice for president on the republican side would have been a repeat of Reagan. In the last years of Reagan’s term, the question of Reagan having Alzheimer’s was creeping into the public. To actually vote for McCain was to risk having another president with a potential for Alzheimer’s, which leaves the scary thought of his running mate (Sarah Palin) taking office. Who would want a potential president that acts like they barely passed sixth grade?

Obama had to win to keep the USA from a nightmare that would make the current situation seem peaceful.

Realistically people shouldn’t expect much from Obama but just be grateful that he is president and not the nightmare that could have been.

  6. Floyd says:

While I voted for Obama, I’m not happy with his leadership, at this point.

On the other hand, Dubya was and is a total idiot. See his handling of 9/11 for a start, his declaration of war on Iraq because of 9/11 (which Saddam had nothing to do with), his mishandling of the Katrina aftermath, and taking measures that led to the current recession.

Couldn’t have said it better. Obama won in part because the alternative was even worse. IMO, that is the reason that Bush II won in 2000 and 2004. For a decade now, we have had a choice between bad and awful. If 2012 ends up being Palin v Obama, it will crowning version of choosing between a shit burger and a douche bag.

  9. brm says:

Miss you? I couldn’t even tell that you left office!

  10. Cephus says:

I miss Bush about as much as I’d miss projectile diarrhea. No, I’d probably miss the diarrhea more.

  11. JScott says:

The Warden shows the classic examples of close minded defensiveness.

He can’t address anyone of a differing opinion without a label, insult, or deprecating comment like ideologue, leftist loons, or obamabots.

He uses red-flag terms like “the fact is.” You know you are dealing with an intellectual when every assertion that begins with “the fact is” will actually be followed by a fact and not an opinion. Conversely, following “the fact is” with an opinion identifies YOU…as the loon.

    Here’s a hint,
    1. A fact is something you can prove definitively.
    2. “Everyone knows that” is not proof.

  12. Winston says:

Miss him? Only the clueless would. And Obama? Only 10% better. Why? At least he doesn’t present an image of Americans as ignorant, arrogant a**holes. Which, truthfully, too many of the loudest ones are.

  13. Rick says:

Uh, no George. Nice try though. Get back on your bike and go somewhere.

  14. BmoreBadBoy says:

The president may change, but the humongous bureaucracy that is government remains the same. And its sole goal is to grow and grow and grow…

Africa nations are catching up to us as they are facing the exact same situation! Vote this for tyrant or that tyrant, hmm….what to do.

Difference is that they can get kill for voting for either bad candidate whereas here we just get screw slowly over the years. Slow death sucks sometimes.

  16. gooddebate says:

Umm, no one see’s the humor? IT’s FUNNY. What would be funnier though, is if it was a picture of Jimmy Carter. Oh, wait, did I say funny? I meant irrelevant.

  17. Buzz says:

I do miss you. Lousy aim on my part.

  18. gmknobl says:

I will never miss that fascist. I hope some day to see him put in prison for his rape of American, destruction of democracy and crimes against humanity.
