When companies start telling people how to use their equipment the equipment starts to become less attractive.
Just a thought.

Never thought it would happen that I would be extorted to download software on dvorak.org — not happening
Telstra Bigpond is a crappy but large ISP in Australia. Your router rekons you’re down under!
Microsoft-Apple-AT&T trifecta against the Google-T-Mobile-Verizon merger. Let the bloodbath begin.
Best way to set up a router is:
step 1: Throw any manufacturers disc away
step 2: Connect all cables and power on
step 3: Use browser to goto IP address of router (can be found using IPconfig)
All the settings are in front of you
You should never have to use a router CD! They usually mess things up trying to be helpful.
John,
Even though your router appears to be working, it may not have encryption turned on; is visible (broadcasting the SSID) to other users i.e. neighbors; or is using the default network name.
In any case it’s a security risk.
How do ya like that
rain bunky?
