The more you talk about faux noise the more I ignore NA..
From what I’ve recently heard on the news, others who knew the shooter back in military school (War College?) had registered complaints about his attitude or something. But as usually happens in these case, this was ignored. Just as I’m sure the trouble student shooter of Virginia Tech was ignored. Nothing is done, nobody cares, or takes notice, until the bullets fly. This what ought to be INVESTIGATED. The complacency of those who’s job it is/was to check up on the mental health (what a joke of a job) of such students. They certainly can’t be that damn busy. When 99.99% of the student body are pretty stable. The nutjobs ought to be fairly easy to spot. Did they cut this Hasan guy too much slack, because of his name? Well after this incidence, I’m sure the DHS will be applying the “No Fly List” to colleges and military services. And perhaps it’s about time. They’ve been ignoring a lot of potential troublemakers as enlisting street gang members.
BTW, it’s always been my understanding that officers can resign at any time (unlike enlisted soldiers). So why didn’t this clown just quit the service, if he didn’t want to go overseas? How is shooting innocent people an alternative? One way he get a honorable discharge, but no retirement benefits. This way he get prison time (many even the death penalty), a dishonorable discharge, and of course no retirement benefits. He could have just shoot himself in the leg, called it an accident while cleaning his gun, and they’d have delayed his trip, or ended it totally. There’s obviously a lot more to this story, than the military has been telling us. And once again they’ve made up a story, or left out some details, to cover their own asses.
This reminds me (in essences) of the story the US Navy came up with the explain the Turret fire aboard the USS Iowa, back in 1989. Their NCIS blamed in on some homosexual sailor, committing suicide. When more like it was defecting power charges, left baking on the loading docks. Typically it became, blame the dead enlistees, not the munitions contractor, or the officer(s) in charge of its safe handling.

You can make BS last forever, as all you need is to ADD to the PILE.
A SITe that could gather ALL the sides of a story. KEEP them together, and CARRY them forward. would be wonderful. EVEn if hidden in TIME. eventually, those that wish TRUTH, will dig and find it and BRING it back to life.
