Apparently Microsoft is all-in with the Family Guy and Windows 7. We’ll see. Already they’re using a “call back” that most viewers will not get.

  1. Angel H. Wong says:

Watch it quickly before the Hulu nazis tear it down.

  2. chuck says:

Here’s the seen this commercial calls back to:
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=FWsGvWwUctk

  3. qb says:

Blame The Rice Company for this.

Family Guy just jumped the shark.

  4. rgspro says:

This clip was not funny at all. I did get the call back reference when Stewie did the same thing to Brian. This just looks like Window 7 paid for product placement. You would expect Stewie to make fun of Win7.

  5. J_the_Mac says:

This is actually the exact same scene where Stewie made his own music video for “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”. And yes, it’s a reference they use often enough that everyone will get it

  6. Hugh Ripper says:

Is this a clip from an actual episode or an separate advertisement?

Its pretty disgusting but unusually hip for Microsoft.

  7. gquaglia says:

    Stupid

  8. moondawg says:

Kind of makes you pine for Seinfeld and Bill Gates, doesn’t it?

  9. KMFIX says:

#7.. I was thinking the same thing… Those were actually funny.

  10. dcphill says:

Pretty witty for a bunch of twitties.

  11. soundwash says:

Very depressing, i can’t believe they sold out like that. -especially to MS.

The only way they could redeem their souls now is if the next episode,
they trash Win 7 in a comparison
with one of the Linux distros like Kbuntu..

  12. ECD says:

Fake. Microsoft is hosting an event w/ Seth MacFarlane, however.

  13. tcc3 says:

Family Guy is show that consists of sharks jumping other sharks.

  14. #4 — You are right. A Stewie would indeed blast Microsoft.

  15. echeola says:

I guess that this is what you get when you back a dump truck full of money up to Seth MacFarlane’s house. Though if this is fake I feel much better about it.

  16. Great American says:

Dude! My Win7 Party Pack didn’t come with a Churro…major bummer!

  17. Seth McStewie says:

This is clearly a joke. Either Microsoft is entirely stupid or Seth and FOX secretly are promoting Apple computers. Who would be impressed that Windows 7 allows you to “twitter”.
