The funny thing about videos like this is it’s very similar to a penalty in hockey. The first guy to taunt, throw a punch or spear an opposing player never gets called for his actions. It’s the “retaliation” act that gets the penalty call instead.

If they have break up a bunch of rowdy’s it’s a liberal protest.
If there aren’t any arrests and the place looks tidy after the event it was tea baggers.
The irony of course is that the presence of cops almost ensures there will be un-necessary violence, injuries of innocents and tear gas.

LRAD is just costly temporary fad.
Cheap ear plugs can already minizmize its effect down to non-harming level, that’s why it is NOT being used as much in Iraq as some people would want us to believe.
The only really effective acoustic devices as super low frequency emitters, causing i.e. your heart to stop beating (or walls to collapse). But those are prohibitively expensive and I doubt they have been used outside of labs yet.
But the fact they already use LRAD suggests that
the situation is getting out of control, hence sooner or later they (the power-holding establishment) will resort to good-ol-n-tested methods of crowd control, like real bullets.
