IM BEING CONFRONTATIONAL
Looks like Azure Software+Services mixed w/ Live Mesh Desktop
Took your advice and am trying out Opera 10. It’s fast and has a clean interface and…doesn’t have any of the add-ins I want. No Xmarks. No Firebug. No Roboform support. No Ad Block. Love it, but won’t use it. I like Safari 4 as well but won’t use for the same reasons.
Exactly.
What happened to your love for Ubuntu, John?
I prefer Gnome or KDE over Windows any day. That article wasn’t very well written either.
The linuxification of Windows, doesn’t really exsist. However the microsoftification of Linux is full speed ahead, while the Wine project seem to languish a little, Mono is showing great promise and progress, and with the huge army of .net developers out there this is very good news indeed. Then there’s dosbox, which does a solid emulation, so good, you can dust off those great IBM PC games from the 80’s and 90’s. This tendency is definitely giving the Linux population a boost.
@6 Yes that’s what I thought, the Windowsification of Linux is far greater than the Linuxification of Windows. The difference is that I am free to switch the whole graphical UI to something else if future Gnome or future KDE doesn’t suit me.
