It looks like the Beverley Hillbillie’s shanty.
The problem is it was worth 1 million on the market, sub prime mortgage of 1.5 mil and now worth $ 450,000
Still out of the financing reach of most average wage earners
How close are speech to .txt programs so that some day we could skim the transcript? I’m assuming by now some program could be pretty close? Perfect conversion for a tech blog?
Too much chaff.
Might make more sense when some day you come to realize “gambling” comes so much closer to what you label “investing.” Takes some of the intellectualization out of the process, so I see why you avoid it.
Oh yes, my little shack in Montana where all us crazy anarchist gun lovers meet over a hot kettle of Palin’ Moose Chow.
John and Andrew, I love listening to you both.
But what I love most about these conversations is that John rarely has a clue about what Andrew is talking about most of the time.
John, is that your childhood home?
I think a double dip recession is clearly where we are heading? I think the unemployment numbers are much higher than reported? Also bad mortgages look to be on the rise? When will that stop? With half the country not being able to afford their home, I see only bad news on the horizon?
#4 so what else is new? #5 No, it’s where I live now!
John,
Both you and Adam need to watch “King Corn” the documentary. The amount of Corn that is produced in the country is astronomical. We have a massive surplus making just about everything.
Please know that this is a health issue since Americans are getting way too much corn in their diet. And high-fructose corn syrup is one of the main ways this takes place.
Next time you go into your local convenient store, I CHALLENGE you to find a perishable product in there that doesn’t have HFCS in it.
Watch the first 20minutes of King Corn here for free.

Netflix has it streaming.

Shanghai just dropped 6%. Could be the beginning of the end.
RSS please?
Thanks John and Adam.
I do think we are in for some stagnation. I think most businesses will continue to show a modest profit without hiring.
I’m afraid of run away inflation and a falling dollar.
