Obvious slogan… “Feed your face with FaceFeed!”

  2. Rhys says:

I am just waiting for them to buy Palm.

And I liked FF..there goes the neighborhood.

  4. deowll says:

Google is pushing the heck out of HTML 5. I think it is what Chrome is all about.

  5. Glenn E. says:

Or they could call it “Friendbook”. But more likely they’ll come up with some entirely different name. And go for the unique brand name copyrighting stasis. Cause squatters have already registered these other names (Friendbook.com IS! But for what use? NONE!!!).

  6. Glenn E. says:

Yep. MJ KASSARABA owns the Friendbook.com domain. As well as 65 others, thru the MJ Ventures company. Which sounds like nothing more than a domain name squatting outfit. The Friendbook domain was registered back in 2002. But it expired last year, unless it was renewed or sold to someone else. And yes, Facefeed.com is also already registered.

I see that Microsoft is continuing to run its fraudulent Tv ad. I call them that, as they aren’t addressing or claiming that their OS is better than Apple’s. Just that they prices of various PC brands are lower than Apple’s Macs. Which isn’t really anything that Microsoft has control over. So why run an ad about it? Apparently Microsoft is relying on customer stupidity, as its latest marketing strategy.

“Is our OS software better than Apple’s? Maybe. But the crappy platforms it often runs on is at least a few bucks cheaper than Apple’s” So forget quality, because PC brands sacrifice it for cost.” That should be what they say in these ads.

  8. Uncle Patso says:

I agree with Tracfone being low cost. If you just need a phone for emergencies and don’t talk more than 60 to 120 minutes in 90 days, a Tracfone will cost just about $100 per year, including the cost of the phone. You can buy 90 days of service and 60 minutes of talk for $20, and you can always get bonus minutes by searching for Tracfone promo codes online (used when buying more time). (There are also higher value cards that have a lower per minute snd per day cost.)

$20 for a basic phone plus 4 x $20 = 360 days of service and 240 to 480 minutes of talk for $100. Text messages cost 0.3 minutes of your talk time each. Long distance calls within the 48 contiguous states count the same as local calls, as do calls to dozens of other countries. No other charges. (Some other pre-paid services charge $1.50 or more for any day you use the phone on top of the per-minute charges.)

    Disclaimer:
Neither I nor anyone in my family or circle of friends work for Tracfone, Motorola or any cell phone related business. I’m just a satisfied customer, although I wish it had better coverage downtown.

  9. SB says:

    #7 Obviously a fanboy.

I’ll chime in on what cell users want. It would be nice if you could talk on your phone more than an hour total in a day without the battery taking a crap.

And I don’t have an iPhone or even a smartphone, just an average Samsung (throwin the name because in my opinion their batteries are the worst).

… Go to Squarespace.com codeword Bing… Might work lol!

  10. qb says:

Microsoft will drag their feet as long they can on HTML 5. They say the are just now looking at the spec which is BS since Chris Wilson co-chairs the W3C working group and they have implemented some of the features in IE8.

  11. Microsoft is King for a reason says:

Facefeed is getting FAT! That means it will shorten it’s life and cost the taxpayer a lot of money in treatment later.

I like the Microsoft ads. They are totally fair. Apple computers have ALWAYS BEEN TOO EXPENSIVE for most people. Apple has been BASHING Microsoft with it’s bizarre ads that they think it’s funny but no one else does but Appleheads featuring a Bill Gates knockoff, so they deserve a good slap.

  12. MikeR says:

In related news… Facebook makes bids for YouTube and Twitter. Proposed new name: YouTwitFace

  13. brendal says:

They’re also censoring again – Facebook just took down the anti-Obama “Barack Obama’s Teleprompter.”

  14. Toxic Asshead says:

Facefeed, hmmm. They should use something that represents their relevance like Blorgwabflocktambo.com
