In the past few years, it seems the powers that be have found so many devious new ways to restrict our freedoms. They’re reading our e-mails, listening to our phone calls, and calling up incessantly to try to get us to donate to their “Police Athletic Leagues” (hey, we’re on to you!).
So it was heartwarming to learn that, last month, a local federal judge ruled that we’re still entitled to one of our most basic freedoms: Firing off unsolicited mailings containing photos of your enemies doctored to look like the Führer.
Judge Saundra Brown dismissed a case filed against onetime General Electric worker Robert Delsman by Sedgwick Claims Management Services — after Delsman sent out postcards emblazoned with photos of two top Sedgwick executives altered to look like Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler.

Turns out few else on this post cares about the actual subject of the post, and instead wandered into what should and should not be allowed as protected speech.
Simply put, if Sedgwick’s two top executives were in the public eye (yes) then their likenesses could be used under fair use.

The problem that I see with this is that this image really based on Rush Limbaugh rants. He’s been playing the Obama == Hitler card for a while. Obama and Democrats are screwing up on message and policy focus and have left a large opening in the middle for the Republicans to step in.
The right or the left could win on health care by simply saying “We will stop the insurance companies and government from getting in between you and your doctor. This will reduce costs and make health care affordable and accessible.”
Both parties are missing the practical middle ground where most Americans are – instead they are focusing on their bases and all voters are losing.

Now that the GOP has managed to lose every black and Hispanic voter, they are dead-set on losing the Jewish vote by trivializing who the Nazis where.
