After clicking on the pics above to take you to the Crappy Taxidermy site, click on the Archives link for a whole lot more although I think PETA would not be amused.

    That is really creepy looking.

  2. Ah_Yea says:

Looking at some of the linked pages, I noticed that nearly all of the really creepy stuff was “art”.

Got through seven pages of it & had to stop. Such mirth-engendering material must be assimilated in small increments. The clue there is when tears start flowing down. Thanks for the elation overdose.

An anecdote: Once while visiting a “modern art” exposition at Chicago’s Art Institute, there was a horizontal glass case containing various stuffed finches & sparrows. The artist had knit tiny sweaters for them. They were all reposing there in their woolen garments with their scaly little feet sticking out. Unforgettable.

  4. Harold Hinchey says:

I think WTF! sums it up quite nicely.

  5. Mr. Fusion says:

    Whatever turns your crank.

  6. Hugh Ripper says:

Norman Bates is alive and well and into art!

  7. t0llyb0ng says:

So I’m the only one that liked it, huh. Got the site in my bookmarks. Elation-engendering images. Thanks.

  8. RTaylor says:

My late father-in-law had a house full of head mounts. Never cared for it myself, but I always thought it would be humorous to have the critters ass mounted in the adjacent room inline with the head. My wife turned them down after his death, for which I was relieved. The exception is a mounted moose, it adds class to the place. Especially if it speaks in a Spanish accent. Someone will get it.
