The Obama poster immediately reminded me of the street artist Banksy who we have highlight on this blog many times before.

    I hate graffiti, but Banksy may be the greatest artist of our generation. There are masters of their craft all over the place, but this guy is doing something new. Damien Hirst is the only other living artist I can think of who will leave a legacy after he’s gone.

    I think some graffiti is really well done and can really improve a blank wall. I like what I have seen of Banksy’s work. He’s big into social commentary.

    Some idiots vandalised the small piece he did in an alley here in Melbourne. Ironic, eh.
