    >>I seem to remember Obama acting like he was

Oh, now there’s a damning indictment of Obama. He didn’t save the world in one literal, calendar day.

I knew Joe the “Plumber” was right. The guy’s a goddamned Muslim and a half-breed. They’re always pulling your leg with some cock-and-bull story or other.

    >>So, knowing that there’s a bathroom in the

    Ah, ‘dro. ‘dro, ‘dro, ‘dro.

Yo había esperado que tus facultades lógicas se hubieran mejorado mientras yo no estaba. Que lástima. Todavía eres mas bobo que Bobbo.

    # 33 Mister Mustard, really Old man you’re losing it, hee hee: ““spawn of SATIN”?? HAW! HAW HAW! I just KNEW you were a homo-secksual! SATIN! I’ll bet you know the difference between teal and fuschia too, don’cha?? Satin! How about velvet? Velour? Chantilly lace?” No I don’t think you’d have a son or daughter, you’d probably abort them. But what exactly is wrong with someone being Homosexual, I thought you Demoncrats accepted that lifestyle, guess not. Very demeaning of you to attack someone you actually think is a minority, hee, hee – ah censorship “Mister Mustard” is trying to censor my opion….Hee,hee

Back up what that the secret wiretapping is legal or that the Justice Dept didn’t think that it needed a US Court to ok wiretapping overseas originated communications?

Either way, I don’t see myself as a right-wing anything, I’ll go with Progressive Nationalist Constitutionalists, that should upset the apple cart, Hee hee.

You’re such a tool. You think I buy into the Republican campaign’s BS just because I’m calling out Obama on, jeez, continuing to operate secret prisons?

I don’t think he’s a closet muslim. You keep putting out these false dichotomies because you can’t possibly imagine someone being something other than a Republican or a Democrat.

I think he’s looking like a closet NEOCON.

And this should PISS YOU OFF. You’re worse than the Bush cheerleaders we had to stomach these last eight years. Congratulations.

There’s a huuuge gap between ‘out of Iraq by March’ and ‘indefinite detention!’ That you don’t realize this proves you’re a moron.

  7. No Agenda material….

  8. Traaxx says:

What do you think the DHS reports on extremist organizations, lumping everyone that disagrees with the government with the Islamic Terriorist, and the definitions of gateway organizations was about. President Hussein isn’t going to use this on the Muslims, he’s planing on using it on us. If you weren’t so brainwashed by the Demoncrats you could see this, they’re getting ready to bring in the North American Union and stomp out any opposition to it.

    Whatever……..

    >>You’re such a tool. You think I buy into the

Hey, I’m not one a them thar Dittoheads, Berm. I think Obama is being an asshole on this one. I hope he sees the error of his ways.

The difference between Bush (and McBush, for that matter) and Obama is that I disagreed with virtually everything Bush/ McBush said and did. If he was trying to be the Anti-President, well, that MISSION was ACCOMPLISHED. You’ve got to expect Obie to fuck up now and then. He’s a politician. And I’m all for roasting him when he does. There aren’t enough fires in all the levels of hell to roast Bush for what he did.

  10. brm says:

    #43 mustard:

    Your logic is so stupid.

    etc, etc.

  11. brm says:

“You’ve got to expect Obie to fuck up now and then.”

So constructing his own legal system that blesses preventative prolonged indefinite detention is now, ‘oh, just a minor screw up, how cute!’

    You suck.

  12. Traaxx says:

    # 43 Mister Mustard , well I’m right about the old man part. You must really regret not getting to abort your current offspring, this would really show the Demoncrats where your loyalty is, hee hee. As far as birth control goes, I was thinking like condoms if you must and if you won’t then have the baby and give it up for adoption, duh…. you must have had another senility moment, we’ve discussed already.

So now sonnie, you should have already taken it that I don’t approve of pornography either, or the “calcified geriatric old men who have to jerk off in front of a paid audience deciding” part either, kinda sick sounding. Do your children/grandchildren know that you’re for aborting babies, kids, children you should tell they so and see their reaction.

You sound like an extremist though, better watch it President Hussein might decide you’re going to commit a crime and “Preventively Detain” you forever, Hee Hee. I love it, you worship him and he’s turned and cast spurn upon you, Hee Hee Hee Hee.

See you later Sonnie Grandpa Mustard….Haaaaaa Hee, Ha, Hee

  13. David says:

Chris, I don’t follow your logic. If there’s any evidence that any of these prisoners are guilty, why not actually give them a trial? Tortured confessions aren’t admissible in court for the reason that it simply isn’t reliable evidence. But if there’s any actual evidence that they are indeed guilty, why not try them and bring them to justice?

  14. deowll says:

Obama is in the position of a man with a tiger by the tail. He can’t let go or it will turn and rend him and if he doesn’t you will.

The problem is simple. We have control of a lot very dangerous people but what to do with them? First principles would say free them if you can’t do the full trial based on crimes against Americans but we have plenty of evidence that these guys will make dead Americans and dead others and nothing in our Constitution or legal system actually covers them because everything they have done was outside our borders and they aren’t citizens.

Let me make this clear. Even if we can prove they helped bring about the death of thousands outside the U.S. that doesn’t make a case inside the U.S. when nobody was a U.S. citizen.

What Obama and Company are actually doing at the momment is turning the problem people over to our allies or not claiming them which pisses the human rights people off but keeps the blood off our hands.

Sorry but the real world is a nasty place. These people aren’t American Citizens and what they have done was done elsewhere often to others which means it was outside our jurisdiction so he’s trying to find some way, any way sane, to deal with them and their plans.

It’s not kinda sick sounding, it’s totally sick. That’s why I raise an eyebrow at “Evangelical Christians”. That’s the kind of shit THEY are up to. Either that, or riding on meth and man ass, like Ted Haggard. Weird and creepy bunch. Very weird, and very creepy.

Either Obama was lying from the get-go (which I want to believe), or there is some horrible Presidential eyes-only intelligence that is so spooky, and so certain, that it makes all this shit seem necessary.

When are Americans gonna get a a clue???

How about Israel controlling US policy via groups like AIAPC? Ratcheting up war with Arab nations is of far more benefit for Israel than the US. What country threatens to bomb Iran every few days?

  19. Traaxx says:

#53 Mustard Brain:”That’s why I raise an eyebrow at “Evangelical Christians”. That’s the kind of shit THEY are up to. Either that, or riding on meth and man ass, like Ted Haggard.” Intellectual argument, poorly presented to quote you can you back that up or is this simply one more senility moment or perhaps a Freudian dream you keep having.

I’m much more concerned with the idea that President Hussein is planning on adding people to his Preventative Detention camps. Will the ACLU be fighting him on this? I doubt it, no more so than they fight the inclusion the religious environmentalism in our public schools.

Those DHS reports defining extremist groups will be used as support evidence for obtaining wiretapping, search warrants and for Preventative Detentions. I really doubt that it’ll be muslims that are detained, it’ll be US Citizens in order to help the North American Union become established.

If you knew that, under my nuanced position on abortion, I don’t consider the morning after pill to be murder, you’d sound like less of an idiot.

Way to pick the least horrific form of terminating a pregnancy and making it seem like all other forms of abortion are just as mild.

Nice straw man. You are a fool.

  21. brm says:

    #55 troublemaker:

“When are Americans gonna get a a clue???”

I never said that I think there’s any secret intelligence that would make this legit.

What I meant was that there might be some secret intelligence that makes *Obama* think this is legit.

    Big difference.

“Ratcheting up war with Arab nations is of far more benefit for Israel than the US.”

Why do people think our entire foreign policy has been hijacked by the tiny country Israel?

More likely, we want a clear path to the oil, and an excuse to get more ridiculous laws on the book, which has nothing to do with Israel.

“What country threatens to bomb Iran every few days?”

Probably the country whose extermination, every few days, is called for by Iran’s leader.

    Go figure.

  22. Nimby says:

What I like is how someone in the crowd spontaneously comes forward to give the Prez a hug. How sweet. And how staged. If not staged, the Secret Service should be shot! Prez muzt learn that seeded crowds of his supporters are not representative of the United States in general. He’s looking more and more like a one-termer. The 2010 elections will hopefully see Arlen Specter wishing he’d never switched.

No? Why not? Doesn’t life begin at the moment of conception?

If not, why not? When DOES it begin? When you can see they widdew handsies and toesies? When a name has been picked? When the fetus has grown from 10,000 cells to 10,500 cells?

You must have one fuck of a nuanced position. I can’t wait to hear what it is. I always thought that the anti-choice movement felt that life began at the moment of conception. At least that’s what their billboards say. Now you’re telling me it’s more nuanced than that? Who gets to decide what gestational date falls on the “yea” side and which falls on the “nay” side of the nuance?

  24. #60 – Nimby

Nice to see you too, venturing out of your back yard.

Don’t be too hard on Obie for seeding the crowd. And least he doesn’t take non-supporters and put them in a dog run out behind the Dumpster(R), like Little King George used to do.

  25. brm says:

I believe that terminating a pregnancy is wrong after implantation. Which is why I don’t believe birth control and emergency contraception are wrong.

But again, I expect you to come back and blather like an idiot because you can’t possibly think there are choices past what the media and political parties spoon feed you.

You make yourself out to be an idiot, because you’re so obviously ignorant about the stages of pregnancy.

Please look up ‘implantation’ and get back to me when you’re ready to do something other than act like a dumbass.

    >>I believe that terminating a pregnancy is
    >>wrong after implantation.

Holy fuck, Berm! I’ve heard some arbitrary and capricious arguments offered in then name of making-other-people-do-what-you-want-them-to-do, but this is outstanding! Did you get that from a Ouija board, or what?

Oh well, if that’s what you believe, then go for it, guy! You should NEVER have to terminate your pregnancy after the ovum has implanted in the endometrium.

Other people do not share your beliefs. What about them? Are you the Boss of All of Us, and you get to decide after which point termination of pregnancy is wrong? Woo hoo! I must be talking to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost right here, right now, on dvorak dot org slash blog.

As to my knowledge of reproductive physiology, I’ll take the Pepsi challenge with your knowledge any day of the week, little man. Although I may be constitutionally incapable of experiencing pregnancy myself (and thus, not in a position to have an opinion of any import in what is and is not wrong, as it would only apply to me), I’ll bet I know every bit as much about conception, gestation, and birth as you do. And then some.

btw, a helpful hint: going on and on and on (and on) about what a blathering idiot I am does not score points on the debate team, and it doesn’t score points here either. If anything, it makes you look like a blathering idiot. If you have any facts or insightful observations, pony them up. Otherwise, follow in the footsteps of ‘dro, and STFU.

  28. brm says:

    #61 mustard:

So silent all of the sudden… maybe because of this?

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Implantation

“Although pregnancy is commonly regarded (both in popular and in medical usage) as beginning at conception, many doctors and bioethicists now define pregnancy as beginning at implantation, because prior to implantation, the embryo’s existence has no known effect upon the mother’s body, and conception can also occur in vitro.”

  29. Carcarius says:

Are people surprised? Come on man, this has been predicted the moment the primaries were over. The two parties are really one party in disguise and nothing they “promise” will ever be followed.

Change will come when America is flat broke.

  30. brm says:

    #65 mustard:

Oh, that’s why. You were busy penning another screed.

    “arbitrary and capricious”

Implantation is a well-defined point in pregnancy which kind of nullifies any arguments that it’s arbitrary.

“Other people do not share your beliefs.”

Other people don’t share my beliefs about slavery and murder. Just because there are many beliefs doesn’t mean none of them are right.

“I’ll bet I know every bit as much about conception, gestation, and birth as you do.”

But earlier you couldn’t possibly have conceived of any other demarcation in the stages of pregnancy past conception?

That makes me think you *don’t* know much about pregnancy. I’m not claiming to be an expert, but implantation is about as basic as you can get.

“If you have any facts or insightful observations, pony them up.”

Well, I did. You said something about conception, and wondered what possibly could happen after that. So I told you about implantation. Then you act like you knew about that all along. I call bullshit on that.
