i would say this show is a trainwreck, but it runs out of steam so quickly it just stopped on the tracks!and john says he wants to make three shows a week? about what? you hardly have enough for one show!
Um, for your information influenza normally causes a fever but not swine flu at least in this flavor unless things are going badly and the case is advanced.
If it looks like the flu and it feels like the flu but the person isn’t running a fever it may well be swine flu.
New strains of flu are a given. Hog, human, and bird strains constantly mix. No need to suggest people made this. They can count on nature constantly coming up with a remix.
Some comments on the show:
I doubt Roche has some secret advertising agency creating panic about the Swine flu (no need, Joe Biden does it for free). More likely the swine flu panic is just an convenient opportunity to get rid of some about-to-expire Tamiflu, like when you go to the grocery store and they put the oldest milk up front and the freshest in the back, hoping some sucker takes the “about to expire” milk. I’m more willing to bet the CDC and/or WHO whipped up the panic to get funded for the next 10 years.
Adam continues to do a poor job in explaining how Wall Street, the government, and US economy “runs on drug money.” Drug money is mere pennies when compared to the world of real estate (as we’re finding out now). John’s explanation about how drugs basically create a ton of government jobs in terms of cops and prisons fits more into the conspiracy theory than Adam’s conspirary theory about Clinton trading some guns for drugs. Big whoopdeedoo if it was true, how much would he make, $100 million? $1 Billion? Wowee. Apple Inc has $30 billion in cash sitting in the bank doing nothing right now. Not buying the drug conspiracy theory, sorry Adam.
I agree with Adam’s shoeshine guy, these five-year-olds shouldn’t be pushed around in these strollers. I just think parents don’t want to yell at their kids anymore, so they stuff’em full of drugs and push them around in catatonic states so they keep quiet.
