I would normally not care about anything this psycho says, but this is a classic. According to her Republicans and hate groups have a bigger limbic brain and it pushes against the frontal lobes and makes them all racists, haters and apparently dissenters.Olberman, of course, agrees with all this. Can anyone be more offensive than this woman?

  1. Breetai says:

Yup, Kinda reminds of that CNN anchor flying off the handle with that Poster calling Bush a Fascist. Gee I wonder if raised their voices when the other side was doing the same stuff with the Bush Fascist posters eh?

Bunch of hypocrites to blind and stupified by their agenda to see that there’s only one party in Washington.

  2. Breetai says:

    Oops, typo 🙂
Meant the Anchor flew off the handle about Obama not Bush.

  3. David says:

What’s going on in her brain that she hates Republicans so much? It’s probably a big limbic system. Pseudoscience is so fun.

  4. Mr Diesel says:

She is a walking, talking c*nt.

Oh yeah, so is the interviewer, both times.

  5. LDA says:

There are Fasces (symbol of fascism) on the wall on either side of the congress. Bush is a fascist and Obama is a fascist and the walls of congress shout to the blind America has a fascist (corporatist) government. Seems fairly obvious to me.

Regarding the washed up comic I have no opinion (with the obvious exception that she is a washed up comic).

  6. Paddy-O says:

Funny as hell. I think she represents the typical lib IQ range.

  7. chuck says:

I knew she was a comedian and a radio talk-show host – I didn’t realize she was also a brain surgeon who is an expert on the limbic system of republicans. (I assume she has personally done a study by dissecting the brains of 100s of republicans and carefully examining and weighing the frontal lobes.)

  8. br549 says:

MSNBC = FNC I worry about people who pick one of these as a NEWs source and not some sort of amusement

Assuming Glenn Beck & Janeane Garofalo are straight what if they were allowed mate and give birth to offspring? I think we have the makings of a Hee Haw joke(kids ask your parents)

  9. wiglebot says:

The human brain has evolved just like everything else. Amongst us is a hierarchy of accentuated traits that can being related to physical constructs or development patterns of the brain itself. And yes in modern times you have to be one the least evolved to be a white supremacist and your brain will be more like a Neanderthal or Cro-Magnon. High-IQ has been linked to brain development. Search google about current studies.

  10. Cursor_ says:

Neither side can address the issues facing the US.

They have not got the ability nor the fortitude to get things done.

    Cursor_

  11. LinusVP says:

She’s ugly but kind of hot.

  12. I thought Republican brains were setup by some sort of intelligent design they will never buy this evolution stuff. I think I was told God Himself has in fact, created the Republicans as the most perfect men, both physically and spiritually.

I hope Jon Stewart does a number on her some time but I think he is friends this Olberman so its unlikely.

  13. Named says:

“Can anyone be more offensive than this woman?”

    Yes.

  14. mr show says:

My enlarged limbic system is making it difficult to compose my reply but anyway…

I remember when Garafalo was actually funny. However, for the last 10 years she’s been a one-note ranter…just angry and overly self-serious. I get that she wants to paint her opposition as something potentially subhuman. After all, it’s easier (lazier?) to get into ad hominem attacks than it is to deconstruct someone’s argument.

What gets me is Olberman gives, at best, tacit approval by not challenging her. Why not ASK her the basis of her opinion? Instead all I heard was “uh huh” as if to agree with her view.

What if her argument were used against another group…let’s say a minority group. Would it be “funny” to say those groups have a different brain (one that makes them less reasonable, more defensive and more prone to attack that which they don’t understand(essentially the enlarged limbic system))?

  15. Improbus says:

“Can anyone be more offensive than this woman?”

Yes, just about any “conservative” talking head. Need a list?

  16. sam says:

    According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janeane_Garofalo

She has dated comedian Ben Stiller, actor Craig Bierko[3], and actor Mitch Rouse.[4] She married writer Rob Cohen in Las Vegas in 1992, but the relationship ended soon after.[5]

I bet she is a big supporter of Israel too.

  17. Ah_Yea says:

Of course, according to her definition, this limbic brain damaged group would also apply to other historical figures as well.

Such as, John Adams, James Monroe, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington …

After all, they violently opposed their current government over tax issues! They even had a tea party!

  18. The sarcasm in my last post does not read well

To clarify my last post, this line of thinking is going down the path blazed by Nazi policies of racial superiority. Believing only they the intellectual, moral and physically superior people should create next generation. It seems she believes this of herself or thinks Republicans with their enlarged limbic brain matter might believe this. Whichever way she is off base. AND yes Keith should call her on this or have a couple of experts on to clarify

  19. Rabble Rouser says:

“Can anyone be more offensive than this woman?”

    Yes: 1) Rush Limbaugh
    2) Sean Hannity
    3) Bill O’Reilly
    4) Glen Beck
    5) Newt Gingrich
    6) Kim Jong Il
    7) Sarah Palin
    8) Lewis Black
    9) Michael Savage
    10) Ann Coulter

    And that’s only ten!

  20. freddybobs68k says:

If you want offensive, its hard to beat Ann Coulter. Or pretty much any of the ‘reporters’ on Fox.

So whilst Garofalo, is pretty weak here, its really nothing in comparison. I mean really.

  21. adogg4629 says:

Hmm…sounds like the conservative brain is having trouble understanding sarcasm.

  22. Billy Bob says:

I find it amusing how Sarah Palin, who by any reasonable standard is rather tapioca, gets into a list of #19’s outspoken bogeymen, right below Kim Jong Il! The election is over, you know, you can stop demonizing her now…

I find it doubly amusing that during the election cycle, grassroots Ron Paul activists were considered “fringe” by Fox News but covered by other MSM as reflecting deep divisions within the Republican Party. Now when they hold a April 15 rally, Fox News can’t get enough of them, and the MSM wants to pretend they don’t exist or call them racists or tax dodgers.

  23. sargasso says:

Read her Wikipedia bio. An Irish Italian Jersey girl, stand-up comedienne and actress. Put a microphone near her, and run.

  24. Thinker says:

yeah, she used to be funny. But the last 10 years or so she’s morphed into the Lefts version of Anne Coultier.

  25. Kim Jong Il??? What are you nuts? What talk show does he go on? What does he actually say that is offensive? I’ve never heard him speak.

Nancy Botox Pelosi needs to be on any such list.

  26. Mr Diesel says:

Kim Jong Il (life sized) speaks a lot on the movie Team America and makes about as much sense as anything out of JG’s mouth.

    # 11 LinusVP said,

“She’s ugly but kind of hot.”

I’d sure be worried about what I put in that cesspool.

  27. Improbus says:

    @Thinker

I feel the same way about Dennis Miller. He used to be funny but now he is just an old crank that pals around with Bill O’Reilly.

  28. curmudgeon says:

what a smear job. these are snippets taken out of context. her “frontal lobes” comment was a sarcastic wisecrack.

  29. Ah_Yea says:

    #19 Rabble Rouser

    You forgot:
    Keith Olbermann
    Nancy Pelosi
    Harry Reid
    Al Franklin

  30. Rich says:

She referenced Archie Bunker, a person who never existed, created by lefty lunatics like herself. Does her kind of madness have some sort of end, or terminal stage? When do we get a break?
