bring back the old version, the only thing the new one is going to do is make regular readers less likely to visit and deter future users or friends of regular readers that have been linked to the blog.
it worked so perfectly before, what possible reason could you have for changing it?
so the fucking “thought bubble” is now at the bottom of the post…where it looks like it’s the TOP of the next post. WTF. Confusing. And, then, the next joyous thing about this backassed text generator (aside from the fucked up cursor jumping all over hell) is that it’s right justifiied, which would work just fine if we were typing Hebrew! We aren’t. And try..I dare you to put in ( )’s while typing and try to figure out if its going to come out allright nor not. And, then…try putting in a gap btween two lines…it’s impossible, and with all the moving around of the text, I can’t tell if I’m typoing, or not, which just pisses me off so much I want to jump up and slap someone….or taze them.
Then, yes, we need numbers, so we can refer to people’s posts, and then….why so much blank space, and why…., oh WHY is this “new design” looking so much like an OLD AOL page? Round the corners more, and it would look like the 90’s version of AOL. I’m sorry for whomever did all the work, but…..aside from the banner, which is cute….the other stuff just…seems so UNFINISHED. Also, I have trouble moving around the “older and younger” posts. The site seems to hang up at some of this, just like movigng up and down the page…..sometimes it “sticks”. The other issue is that the font is small….and I can’t see how to make it lartger…so f*ck me if I can’t always SEE it…damn, ageist, too…
FIX THIS….
I like the new ,wait a minute the cursor keeps on going back to the beginning of the sentence . This is freaking me out i quit but will be back.

New header is cool, comment box right justification is not a good idea to me and its weird to type in. Comment numbering makes replies easier, too many columns in the layout for my taste. Color scheme is good. So overall, I believe some layout changes and config changes, but keeping the awesome header, would really refine the new design.
the eyes at the top of the page are creeping me out
Bring back the old design! This loads very slow in FF on OS 10.5, gray color is bland and depressing, eyes are creepy, comment box is buggy, needs comment numbers

Looks like the site of some 30-year-old “poet” with that header image. And what the hell is the deal with this comment text input? Right aligned?
..Wow this is really bad. Try typing a sentence in this c.omment box and the “.” ends up on the fro.nt of the line. Who thought of that one?

John, try to imagine how you would rate this website if you were discussing it with Leo. Really, the backwards comment box thing is really so 1980’s basic programming error-like.
Oh please for the love of Pete this is horrendous in so many ways..
My comments appeared to be right-aligned, it doesn’t render right, this web 2.0 comment editor is foobared, the site alignment is wrong in 1024×768 , and that’s just 3 mins of review plus the design looks terrible.
I’m not trying to complain. Seriously.. Design isn’t everything and I generally don’t care but this really is world-beater bad.

as others have already said there are definitely problems with this new layout and as with anything new you’re going to get mostly naysayers so ignore about half of them. I think if you fix a few things this could be workable. This text entry cursor must be fixed. The overall design is too wide. I don’t use a full screen to read blogs in my browser and your design is forcing horizontal scrolling. And last but certainly not least the eyes at the top have to go. They don’t add a thing to the design other than a creepiness factor and probably feed your already over inflated ego 😛
Other than that I think this new look has promise. For someone who is supposedly such an ubergeek I’m really quite astonished you let something with this many problems go public with your name on it..
OK OK .. the comment entry thing is peculiar, but not sure why it goes like this.
It’s pretty weird since this is all wordpress.
Anyway that can be fixed.

I quite like the new site, about time it had an update as it did look a bit 1998 before. The only problem I can see so far is Johny C’s big starey eyes looking down at me. That in itself is no biggy I guess were it not for the fact that I am currently naked after having a shower and having a quick interweb broswe! Sorry for the TMI but it had to be said and im sorry but it really freaked me out to have John’s eyes staring at me in such a way. Plus he looks a little like Jerry Springer in that photo too also why is the comment text entry box screwed up, If this posting comes out badly formatted it isint my fault lol
