Wax might work better, but it makes them holler.

  3. Haha…

    Mowing “lawns” and trimming “bushes.”

Why can’t we have ads like this on the states side?

@#3 “Why can’t we have ads like this on the states side?”

Simple, some idiot will try to use a weedwacker or hedge trimmer to groom themselves, get injured, and sue the company.

Have you ever seen the warnings on a lawn mower, I pretty sure they are there because someone was just not bright enough to realize that sticking an arm or foot into the mowing deck while the blades are turning is not a brilliant idea. I used to think that most people are smart or had some common sense, but then I go out into the world and see people do the most idiotic things.

Up until a few months ago you could buy Wilkinson Sword gardening tools http://wilkinsonswordgarden.co.uk/ but it seems that licensing deal has finally died, and they are dancing on it’s grave.

Also the actresses all sound American, so you will probably see this ad in the US branded as ‘Schick’ or something equally craptastic.

#4, stupid warning signs are pretty much always there because somewhere, some idiot actually did what the sign is now telling you not to do. For instance, a dessicant pack that says “Do not eat” or a curling iron that says “Do not use in bathtub”.

About a month ago, I bought a 15 foot extension cord and it had 6, yes, that’s right, 6 different labels on it telling me how to use it properly and what not to do.

    Sooo LAME…
It’s disturbing on so many ways.
It’s not only the vain and futile image placed on women, it’s also the suburban, white picketed fences, housewife/sex object/barbie doll stigma. I wonder if this is made to sell blades for women, or is it a subliminal men’s advertising.
    The target is clearly men…

Gawd. A triangle, a strip, and a heart. Winks all around. Trimming hedges. I love it.

That UK ad had better win some sort of advertising award.
