So, how is Google doing with their semantic search engine?

  1. eyeofthetiger says:

So basically a search for ‘socks on sale’ will show YouPorn for the next hundred and fifty results.

  2. Stu Mulne says:

#1, AND, it would take a month to get it back….

Sure beats hell out of posting a note on Wikipedia and finding 38 corrections before you release the mouse button….

  3. Ga Ga says:

I’m still trying to figure out how to enter Prince’s formerly known “name” when he became “The band formerly known as Prince” which is a symbol that does not appear on any keyboard I have ever researched on Google, thus, the engine is useless in my studies of language.

  4. KD Martin says:

The new semantic search engine seems to yield better results in technology / space program searches, as far as I can tell. Seems like a better “context” result based on 4 – 8 keywords.
