$14K for a Prius? The guy had it coming.
Reminds me of some the comment wars on the blog. Funny as heck.
Andy Richter is a national treasure.
And thats how I feel about Prius’s! 🙂
And it is pulled… So who should I vent my anger at today?
Awesome.
Funny but, bad timing.
A little funny but very disturbing at the same time.
Not sure why the producers couldn’t have had the Prius Guy just jump in his car, take off and get plowed over by a garbage truck instead of being gunned down by Andy.
Of course then the Nissan “Stay out of it” tag line wouldn’t work, but creative people could come up with something else.
Even joking about anger management issues and violence these days, especially with guns, is at best in very bad taste and at worst, poor judgement.
Cheers!

“Andy Richter is a national treasure.”
Yeah, if only Richter, Chris Elliott, and Ed McMahon could find the appropriate project to work together on. Could any movie be more worthy of an Oscar?!
7. “Not sure why the producers couldn’t have had the Prius Guy just jump in his car, take off and get plowed over by a garbage truck”
And One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest would have been so much better if Nurse Ratched had recognized the error of her tyrannical ways and had let her patients get the fair and loving treatment they so deserved.
LOL
best fake commercial i’ve seen in a while
#7
Very bad taste indeed.
Nissan might have actually produced that ad so that when people show up at Toyota to get their $14,000 Prius…
Good Ol USA–respond with a gun. Think about it.
#9–SN==funny/insightful point ABOUT THE MOVIE. Does your comment explain away the concern about USA gun culture? – (No.)
Everything is on many continuum’s/slippery slopes, from here to there.
#3: That’s how I feel about Prius owners. 😀
Nissan should use this ad. Probably boost sales. The only ones who would be offended are PC nut jobs, and they’d buy the Toyota anyway.
Funny, dark.
Too bad about the timing. “Losing it with a gun” isn’t as ha-ha funny with today’s real-life “losing it with a gun” story.
Maybe if it were a taser instead of a gun, but it was still just a joke. Oh, wait, it was a Japanese car company joke. Never mind.
When Toyota get’s wind of this they will get it yanked from boobtoob, it’s clearly attacking it’s trademark. It’s in extremely poor taste to even post this crap. This is the problem with the YouTube whores and the DMCA, which has bastardized the rights of copyright holders. Shit like this can be posted by anyone long enough to irreparably harm a company’s trademark.
