Had to look closely for that one….

#1 – And that product is illegal in many states.

  4. Cephus says:

All of those photo-blocker products were completely disproven on Mythbusters, the only thing they could find that would reliably beat a speed camera was driving at over 250MPH.

    WHAT NOW, COPPER????

  6. John Paradox says:

    Actual size?
Reminds me of an ad in a local paper that included a map of Arizona, noted ‘not actual size’.

    😉

    J/P=?

Someone please help the visually challenged… apart from the license plate, I don’t see anything strange in the photo.

That’s very clever! For the guy or gal who doesn’t have to brag..

#7. Actual Size on the back window…I thought the license plate was blocked out for privacy.

    #3;

Please explain how it is A) illegal, and B) how they would prove anything (assuming A is true).

A cop would need to be able to detect that the coating is there. Supposedly, they can’t see it, so how would they know? If the product works, the camera can’t read your plates, so you don’t get caught. It would be nearly impossible to detect and/or prosecute.

Note: I’m not saying the “anti-camera” sprays work. I’ve never seen anything that indicates they help at all. All I’m asking is how the government would react if the sprays did work.

Actually it’s not a so much small car. It’s almost as big as a VW new beetle, bigger than a Fiat500 and way bigger than a Smart car. I know there’s a huge difference between the vehicles seen in the streets in the US and Europe, but the new mini is bigger than almost 50% of the vehicles roaming around any European city.
And, remember, it’s basically a beemer.

    12,
    YEP it can..
I would include BOTH IR and Ultra violet..
UV is used to RANGE most digital cams..
I suggested this for theaters awhile back..USE both around a screen and Digital cams, wouldnt function to well in recording ONSCREEN/theater shows.

    There’s always this option …

    11-

No, it’s not ‘basically a beemer’. Try to get your facts straight before you post your smug BS here.

MINI is, indeed, owned by BMW. But to call it a ‘beemer’ shows just how ignorant you really are.

MINI is its own company and allowed to run without any interference from BMW. All one needs to do is look at the brand’s unequivocal success worldwide to show that BMW is doing the right thing in letting them do their thing.

And yes, it is still a very small car. To claim that 50% of the cars in Europe are smaller than the MINI? Please provide proof or admit you’re a bumbling idiot with no facts to back up anything you’ve said in your incoherent post.

Oh, and for those clowns trying to figure out how to beat the red light cameras? How about NOT RUNNING RED LIGHTS? Gasp! I know! Not breaking the law! Good god, instead of worrying about how to get away with breaking the law, how about being a good driver and obey them? Sound good? Good.

Brian, go to Rome and look around.

  16. joaoPT says:

    Brian:
you’re half right. MINI is not a beemer, although is becoming one more and more. At least reading wikipedia.

As for being not a very small car, it’s true. I live in Europe and I can assure you, at least in the big cities, that the MINI is pretty average size.
