    “Chip market to fall 28-percent.”

Not a deadly surprise to me. I am planning a new Intel quad-core build, but the simple truth is that my old P-4 system meets my needs very well. Couple that with the bad economy and it’s no surprise.

Same podcast title from yesterday with today’s content.

    Miserable Deja Vú.

  3. Dallas says:

#1 Thanks for your concern, but nobody needs any stale ideas from the party that got us into this abyss.
There are plenty of smart people in the Obama camp trying to dig the nation out of this.

Just watch Bonanza or I Love Lucy reruns like a good republican and STFU.

Fuckin’ A, man! Damn straight! I undestand many small and medium business owners are already laying off workers in anticipation of Obama’s oppressive tax plan, right?

    HAW!

    You buffoon.

  5. Paddy-O says:

“The stimulus package is not going to be a walk in the park either. Republicans are yelling it’s too costly and doesn’t stimulate enough. And they might have point. It’s at $825 billion now and could go higher. Hundreds of millions for condoms and other contraceptives doesn’t belong in there either, unless it’s for what’s about to happen to the American taxpayer.”

This from Bush hating CNN Jack Cafferty

  6. brm says:

I’m starting to think these drives loaded with military secrets are planted, and full of phony information.

    >>This from Bush hating CNN Jack Cafferty

    “Bush hating”???

Cafferty was one of the biggest cheerleaders of the Iraq war at the beginning.

It was only after he realized how America had been manipulated and lied to by President Cheney/ Rove and his organ-grinder monkey Incurious George, that Cafferty started calling Bush an asshole.

He’s every bit as likely to bash Dems as Repugs, and has on many occasions.

Not every network is like Faux Spews, Paddy-RAMBO.

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd began this little snowball and covered it up when asked if there was a problem.

At least blame the right people.

    #5 Drama Queen Mustard

What do you know about business taxes? You’re just worried that your welfare check will be cut off. Understandable since you are too stupid to keep a job.

  9. Publius says:

I’m sorry, I meant to post in Dvorak UNCENSORED.

I didn’t realize my comments were subject to Moderator Approval.

Can anyone point me to the real Dvorak UNCENSORED??

  10. Mister Mustard says:

    #9 – ‘tempt

    >>Blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah blah
    >>blah blah. Blah blah.

Why don’t you just get yourself a little macro that automatically posts “blah blah blah” several times for every new thread? It would make much more entertaining reading than your usual content-free yammering.

And on the rare occasion when you go out on a limbe and actually post something with content, it invariably ends up being cockamamie bullshit like that “Minnesota vote fraud” tall tale, or the laughable notion that businesses are already (and have been for some time) laying off workers in anticipation of Obama’s oppressive tax plan.

Less is more, ‘temptie. And in your case, that goes in spades. The fewer times you post, the less of a drooling imbecile you look like.

  11. GregA says:

    #1,

I don’t see how that will help as companies are still going out of business because they can’t get a short term payroll loan next week.

Also, lower taxes don’t help when no one is buying anything.

At the same time my company is having a banner year, as the economic situation is wiping out all of our competitors. Yay cash! Goooooo Cash!

  12. McCullough says:

Damn John, I thought we had already hit “bottom”?

  13. contempt says:

    >>lower taxes don’t help when no one is buying anything.

Lower taxes always helps because it leaves more money in the pocket of consumers. History proves that it’s the best way back to a healthy economy.

  14. GregA says:

    #14,

You realize you have no clue at all about economics and are just towing party line, right?

  15. Paddy-O says:

    # 15 GregA said, “You realize you have no clue at all about economics and are just towing party line, right?”

Yeah, it’s more efficient, economy wise, to have the gov’t take peoples $ and THEN spend it in usual gov manner than to have the consumer spend it directly.

You know, you are clueless, right?

  16. contempt says:

    #15 GregA

That’s basic economics 101. What is your solution back to a healthy economy?

  17. Mister Mustard says:

    #16 – Paddy-RAMBO

    >>You know, you are clueless, right?

Paddy-RAMBO, that you could call GregA “clueless”, after the nonstop drivel you’ve been posting on dvorak dot org slash blog, just boggles the imagination.

Couple that with all the LIES you’ve been busted in during the past few days, and I’m surprised you have the ball to show your hypertophied nose around these parts.

    Dunce.

I bet your wife tells you that as not to hurt your feelings… excuse me, significant other.

  19. GregA says:

    #16,

Then please explain the current situation;) OIC you can’t;)

So if your econoimic theory is correct, we should be able to just lower all taxes to zero right? That wouldn’t have any increased opportunity cost assciated with it at all, would it?

  20. Mister Mustard says:

    #15 – GregA

    >>You realize you have no clue at all about
    >>economics and are just towing party line,
    >>right?

Paddy-RAMBO has no clue about anything. And he has nothing else to toe BUT the party line. He’s so far right, he makes Anal Cyst Limbaugh look like a Woodstock peace-love-and-understanding moonbat.

  21. GregA says:

    #21,

Well please excuse me for taking delight in intelectual combat with the unarmed;)

  22. GregA says:

    #17,

Actually, I got the lower taxes helps the economy in poly-sci 101. I don’t recall talking about taxes much at all in econ-101

You never took econ-101 did you?

  23. contempt says:

    >>I don’t recall talking about taxes much at all in econ-101

How can you learn about the economy and not cover taxes? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to the quality of school you attended.

  24. Paddy-O says:

    # 20 GregA said, “Then please explain the current situation;)”

Actually, Alan Greenspan’s December 19, 2002 speech before the Economic Club of New York explains it best.

I’m sure you know the one I’m referring to?

  25. Jim says:

Some bicyclists are just stupid gits. Here in DC you have the couriers, especially around K street that seem to think whizzing across four lanes of traffic while listening to their ipod is a GREAT idea.

Simple way to deal with it: take cam pics of them doing their stupidity and put them up on social websites.

  26. GregA says:

    #24,

Oh so you didn’t take econ-101 as I suspected;)

  27. GregA says:

    #25,

Oh so please descibe deflation and its effect on the economy;)

  28. GregA says:

    #29,

Do you even know what the democratic part line is? By the end of febuary the US is gonna be at 10%+ unemployment, and 20% by the end of the summer.

I’d like to think that the economy needed a little bit of corrective action, but guess what… It is busted.

I think people who identify “conservative” have really revealed themselves this week. They would rather see America destroyed than an America they don’t control.

You lost the election, get over it.

  29. Mr Diesel says:

I’m sort of happy that Obomba won the election. It will pave the way for a real conservative in four years to save us from the idiotic crap of what will have been 24 years.

If you think that taxing the population and then spending it on bullshit programs like FDR did then you have a serious reality problem.

  30. Paddy-O says:

    # 28 GregA said, “Oh so please descibe deflation and its effect on the economy;)”

You don’t have a clue about the Greenspan speech I spoke of, do you?
