Is this the best propaganda that Hollywood can put out? They suck! Sorry, but I do not recognize half of these celebrities. And it’s interesting to see that “slavery” is going to be a big issue. Yes. And is the best message to stop drinking bottled water and turn off the lights for Obama? Cripes. This looks like a Microsoft ad.

  1. Sea Lawyer says:

“I pledge allegiance to the funk”

Lol, that video really is a groaner.

  2. Paddy-O says:

    # 34 BigBoyBC said, “not to be mistaken for the “freedom Cage” the Democtrats set up in Denver.”

Pay no attention to the lib behind the curtain…

  3. deowll says:

Look, these people are just getting warmed up. Give them some time and they will be turely obnoxious as they mock the President.

These people have been making their living for decades by mocking the Presidnet and it isn’t about to change just because the President is named Obama rather than Bush, Clinton or Bush.

  4. faustus says:

sweet… time for all you good do gooders to get doing good…you heard the man…get to it. me i pledge to snort way more cocaine for the ppls of peru and blowlivia… may their harvest always keep on keeping on… amen.

  5. cjohnson says:

#33, who is to say that we have not elected one fascist over another? I hope that we have finally gotten a grown up in the White House (we really haven’t had one in 16 years!) It is going to take time to actually see if this is the case, and how much power the new President has over his own party.

  6. notStatist says:

“I pledge allegiance to the president”
    “I pledge service to Obama”.

The nutjobs in Hollywood must think Soviet Russia was a good idea.

  7. notStatist says:

“Bush crammed protest and dissenting speech into “freedom zones” (or some doublethink bullshit term of that nature), spied on people, suspended habeas corpus, and in general acted like a petulant child instead of the President of the USA.”

Do you seriously think Obama would have a joint effort with the congress to over turn all those bad laws? He said that we should not look to the past, but to the future. Which means that everything that was done in the past administration is precedent. Yeah he might close Gitmo which is symbolic, but don’t look to him to try to remove all the newly granted unconstitutional powers of the executive.

  8. Rich says:

I believe that was Dakota Fanning? Isn’t she like 16? That’s child abuse. And that last shot featured The Cougar and her latest meal. OH MY GOD. My kingdom for a bucket of frag grenades.

  9. aslightlycrankygeek says:

“To sell a culture of intelligence instead of ignorance”

So basically do exactly the opposite of what you have always done? Thanks Hollywood!

  10. George says:

So, if Obama had not won, I guess all of these celebs would have just continued to be overbearing, self-centered, assholes.

    Ashton Kutcher pledging dignity? Please.

  11. moose1967 says:

    #26 Nice.
If these people were about so much change then why were they “not in the trenches” for the past eight years if they feel so strongly about it. It’s real easy to jump on the band wagon when the guy your supporting is sitting in the big chair. True service to your cause comes from when your going against the “status quo”. I didn’t vote for Obama but guess what, he’s president so let’s see what he’s got. Unfortunately is realist terms he’s only got 2 years to make some kind of head way. At that time the race will begin all over. The job ahead of him would be tough for anyone and is most likely not going to be corrected within four years. He’s already backed away from promises made in the campaign. Let’s hope those decisions and his future ones are the right ones.

  12. smartalix says:

“…but don’t look to him to try to remove all the newly granted unconstitutional powers of the executive.”

What will you say if he does?

  13. Paddy-O says:

    # 48 smartalix said, “What will you say if he does?”

I’d be surprised if he reversed his own votes while he was in the Senate… 😉

    FISA

  14. Geoff says:

I pledge to not go to the movies or buy any DVDs that put money in these numbskull’s pockets.

  15. smartalix says:

    49,

We’ll know about some of the most egregious Bush fascisms this week.

  16. rebublic not democracy says:

I pledge to continue to fight fascism.
I owe my country nothing ,the Govts only job is to keep us free by defending us from enemies both foreign and domestic, nothing else. The past administration as well as the new one coming in are no different. Wake up America before it is too late. Go study old nazi videos if you want to see our future if we do not resist.Obamamaniacs remind one of the old brownshirt movement. The last crooks were no better. Please try to look past the veil at what is really going on.America is a Republic not a democracy people read your constitution, you do have a copy don’t you? If you have a extra copy please send it to the whitehouse they seem to have lost theirs. To be forced to volunteer is not volunteering it is a new form of slavery.

  17. Mr. Fusion says:

Right wing nuts still haven’t accepted they lost.

Too bad. I laugh every time I hear Kieth Oberman, commenting on the Bush crimes, say “And that is why Daddy is in jail.”

Aahh, the sun is shining. Gee, the air is so much sweeter.

  18. Paddy-O says:

    # 51 smartalix said, “We’ll know about some of the most egregious Bush fascisms this week.”

I highly doubt it. The reason we have no more data with the Dems (Obama included)controlling congress for the last two years, is that those people agreed with his actions…

  19. Mr. Fusion says:

#54, Cow-Paddy, Ignorant Shit Talking Sociopath, Retired Mall Rent-A-Cop, Pretend Constitutional Scholar, Fake California Labor Law Expert, Pseudo Military Historian, Phony Climate Scientist, and Real Leading Troll Extraordinare,

How many people agreed with this?

  20. Paddy-O says:

#55 The whole banking system needs to be scrapped. Starting with the Fed.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” Thomas Jefferson, President of the United States 1801-1809

Wilson was the last President who knew this and wasn’t owned by the bankers. Unfortunately, Obama doesn’t realize this and thus won’t fix the real underlying disease infecting our financial system…

  21. Paddy-O says:

“Wilson was the last President who knew this and wasn’t owned by the bankers.”

Correction. Kennedy knew something was wrong and might have tackled this but he didn’t live long enough…

  22. Paddy-O says:

Cat got your tongue Mr. Fusion?

  23. Paddy-O says:

Where are you hiding Mr. Fusion?

  24. Mr. Fusion says:

The banks are not the problem. It is the lack of oversight and dropping of regulations that have allowed this mess to fester.

Where are you hiding Mr. Fusion?

Cow-Paddy, what, so you are having an extra long play time at school? Geeze you are juvenile.

  25. Paddy-O says:

    # 60 Mr. Fusion said, “The banks are not the problem. It is the lack of oversight and dropping of regulations that have allowed this mess to fester. ”

    ROFL!

  26. Paddy-O says:

“Capital must protect itself in every possible way, both by combination and legislation. Debts must be collected, mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through the process of law, the common people lose their homes, they will become more docile and more easily governed through the strong arm of government applied by a central power of wealth under leading financiers. These truths are well known among our principal men who are now engaged in forming an imperialism to govern the world. By dividing the voter through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance. It is thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves that which has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished.”

    American’s Banker Association, 1924

  27. smartalix says:

You guys are talking at cross purposes. You are both right. The banks are owned by souless vampires who would foreclose on their mother, and our regulation has been reduced to less than useless levels of lip-service bullshit that allows whatever goes.

  28. Paddy-O says:

    # 63 smartalix said, “and our regulation has been reduced to less than useless levels of lip-service bullshit that allows whatever goes.”

And, always will, as long as the Gov doesn’t control the money supply. THAT is the crux of the problem. Congress abdicated its constitutional authority to the private sector.

No amount of fiddling around the edges will fix that fundamental structural defect.

  29. Not-a-servant says:

To be a servant to Obama? What’s that about slavery again?

  30. Mark says:

What do you pledge, John? Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
