Download links do not work!
Hey I like Adam Curry, but mevio dot com has problems all the time. Does not seem to ¨just work¨. Yahoo video or reuters no problem.
WARNING — The audio for this show does not work, and the downloads do not work. I’m going to leave the post here until it is repaired or Mevio pulls it completely. I apologize to our viewers for this, and have done all I can for now to get the problem repaired.
I’m working on it, but all the links are supplied by Mevio. I’ll see what I can do…
Thanks for your patience.
Must be the DRM 😉
An example of what passed for “business humor” in the past is a saying I remember seeing several times. It goes something like this:
Somewhere around here, someone knows what’s going on. We have to find that person and FIRE HIM!
At least, I _used_to think that was meant humorously.
In any case, it certainly looks like they finally found all those people and fired them.
Adam, I think you let go one too many…
None of CG have been available on iTunes since 12/17. What’s up?
Credit crunch hitting Cranky Geeks. I knew Dvorak was one of those Madoff victims. How else can he afford to open that deli.
For whoever takes care of this stuff I’m having problems with the RSS feed for the audio only versions. I use gPodder version 0.11.3 on openSUSE to get CG. I have gPodder pointed to the link http://feeds.ziffdavis.com/ziffdavis/crankygeekspodcast. It used to work great until last week. It still doesn’t see last weeks episode nor this weeks episode. I was able to manually download the podcast by browsing to the above link. By the way I use gPodder for all of my podcasts and haven’t had any trouble with the various TWIT podcasts I subscribe to.
This looks serious. From crankygeeks.com:

Well for shits sake.
I use a Zune. And I haven’t gotten a good CG since before Christmas.
This particular episode was a lip readers special.
