  2. Angel H. Wong says:

Eating your vegetables and going to church every Sunday won’t give you a job unless you give the preacher a love offering.

I’m not sure what such studies prove. People lie. People have always lied. They lie when asked questions in either direction and some people may not answer the questions.

Of course if God isn’t going to get you for being a lier/cheater…

Anyone who assumes that any game isn’t rigged unless they know the players and can see everything in person…

Net books are _cheap_ but the real story is size. Not sure if this will last. Nobody stuck with the basic idea. Small and cheap. Of course I’d like small but not all that cheap if I can get a little more power.

Okay, I’m not buying because I just don’t need one.

So who figured the market share for MS and how? I know a lot of people and places that seem to be using a lot of linux machines and openoffice.

Apple seems to be doing great with laptops in the states but in most countries the only way Apple is going big time is with cracked software. They weren’t buying MS and they won’t buy Apple.

Apple has to have a 30% mark up.

  4. MotaMan says:

    from that study:

“An overwhelming majority, 83 percent, of public school and private religious school students admitted to lying to their parents about something significant, compared to 78 percent for those attending independent non-religious schools.”

“Despite no significant gender differences on exam cheating, students from non-religious independent schools had the lowest cheating rate, 47 percent, compared to 63 percent of students attending religious schools.”

  5. JimD says:

Today’s Teens “thieves and cheaters” ??? They have had EIGHT YEARS OF THE LYING, CHEATING, AND MURDERING BUSH MIS-ADMINISTRATION TO MIMIC !!! No wonder !!!

  6. JimD says:

Online Poker MIGHT be crooked ??? Chuckle !!!

  7. MotaMan says:

    Pedro,

I pick on religion because in this case because most religions have policy in place that supposedly holds it’s members to a “higher standard”

I do believe all that preaching has become counter productive.

  8. James Hill says:

Black Friday turned out well… as opposed to what?

You can tell a trend is reversing when everyone has bought in to flawed logic. In this case, the idea that no one would go shopping on Friday when unemployment and gas are at historically low points.

The economic “rebound” started last week, and the stock market will start to turn around in February. You’ll read about it in June, when the media puts two and two together.

  9. Paddy-O says:

Kinda interesting. However iPhone isn’t a computer OS. But, the fall in OS share is inevitable when you produce a crappy product long enough.
