VINELAND, N.J. – November 21, 2008 – (WPVI) — She was an adult film star who went by the name Crystal Gunns. But she reportedly says that’s part of her past. She’s now an aid at D’Ippolito Elementary in Vineland, New Jersey, and that has some parents furious. “I understand it’s her personal life, but I don’t feel someone with that background should be working with young children at all,” said preschool teacher Maria Martin. Crystal Gunns is apparently retired. She’s now Louisa Tuck, a cafeteria and playground aide at D’Ippolito Elementary.
District officials were tipped off about the situation a few weeks back.
They were stunned.
A background check turned up nothing. They wanted to take action, but lawyers advised them not to. Tuck hadn’t done anything illegal. Some parents agree. “It’s in her past. We all do things in our past. And as long as she’s not interfering with any kids, I don’t see any problem with it,” said Raul Cordova of Vineland, N.J. Action News was unable to reach Tuck. She also works at the local YMCA. A co-worker described her as a great person. In a interview with a local newspaper, Tuck defended her ability to work around children despite her past career. But some are not convinced. The school superintendent says the district is investigating all of it’s options to see what sort of recourse it has.

Personally, I think her working there will be very educational. You just know every kid in the school is about to become expert at searching Google images.
And she would make a good object lesson for the young girls. Go into porn and you retire as a cafeteria lady!

You cannot penalize people for things that they are likely to do. Even if porn stars are more likely to behave unnapropriately in front of children, everyone deserves a chance and you shouldn’t judge people based on what people like them have done. If she does something wrong then she gets fired, thats the way it works. And if certain people are waiting for her to do something wrong then that is just something she will have to bear and prove them otherwise.
That being said, I wouldn’t have a problem myself just as long as she’s washing her dirty porn hands before she serves my kids their food.

As long as she abides by school dress code, and actions, then I really don’t care if she was doing something that is totally 100% legal in the past. If she was doing it now, that would be different, then again, it is legal, and in her personal life, so I probably wouldn’t care either.

Apparently before she hit the cafeteria to wield a ladle, she stopped by the phys ed department to pick up a pair of basketballs and then went up to the biology lab to have them implanted.
