Good for that kid. Nice to see SOME good news, even if for an individual only.
I thought for sure he was going to win both showcases.
Way to go kid! Drew jumping up and down was worth the watch!
Slow news day?
That is great, I’m happy for him. Too bad he blew his life’s worth of luck in one day.
Good for him ! Probably got laid that day too.!
Later that night, to celebrate, Drew took the kid out to the Playboy mansion, where he was brutally sodomized by James Caan.
I’m glad he won the 2 cars, he will need to sell the second one to pay for the taxes probably.
#8, I don’t think so, I believe that there are laws against that in the U.S.
That was absolutely amazing. Favorite part was the 2nd $1.00 spin. Next favorite part was Drew saying “I’m gonna go berserk.”
#10, are you sure about that? I remember hearing a few years ago about the guy who won the HGTV dream house and had to sell it because of taxes, and every time someone takes a lump sum on lottery winnings the news always mentions how much they will have after taxes. Then again I never won anything that costs that amount so I have no personal experience with winnings on that level.
Good for him.
That’s called being high on life.
Boston?
Worst drivers in the world. Good thing he has two cars.
#12 # 10 was talking about #8 not #9.
The cash he won will probably cover most of the taxes. I’d probably sell at least one of the cars though.
Hello taxman!
Just how I win here every day.
It’s all income, so even at 30% it was a good days work. The important thing is cover the taxes, then enjoy what’s left. The fair market value on the vehicles may be several thousand less than the list price also.
You know what, slow news day or not. I enjoyed watching that clip.
Drew Carey was made to be a game show host.
that guy was luckier than a drunk playing pool for money
Why would he have to sell one of the cars to pay for the taxes? Remember, he won 26k in cash from the spin.
Boston is not bad driver, Hartford CT have a lot of BAD drivers.
Maybe it’s me, but I couldn’t watch it for more than 30 seconds…
I absolutely HATE game shows of any variety, the dumbed ones, the suspense ones, the “voyeur” ones.
#7: Yeah, but, c’mon. James Caan!
#18: spit take of the day! 😀
#24: I live near both. Yes, they both suck. However, I vote for Ottawa, Ontario as worst drivers on the planet. Blinders, anyone?
Congrats to the kid, seriously.
Suckers.
