Streem / US facing second wave of 9/11 attacks — Fear mongering. But these creeps do work on what seems to be an 8-year cycle or so.

Arab newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi in London reports a senior Yemen official close to Al-Qaeda as warning of a new wave of terror attacks against the western nation.

The source, who is not named, is quoted as being “very close to Al-Qaeda” The newspaper report, contained on the front page, suggests bin Laden has ordered a large scale attack against the United States which would “outdo by far” the attacks of September 11.

It comes as reports in Britain say there is clear evidence that thousands of extremists are living inside the United Kingdom. In a message to loyalists, bin Laden is reported to have asked that his followers ignore all efforts to reconcile with Governments and other political parties – in effect keeping extremists isolated. The newspaper’s source said it was likely a sign of an imminent attack may be sent within the coming weeks.

  1. eaze says:

Pretty obvious that the report released in Britain is part of the next phase of destroying civil liberties and personal freedoms. Get everyone afraid of each other and they are easier to control as a whole. The report is obviously rubbish and its disgusting that this stuff is allowed to continue. It makes me ashamed to be British when this stuff happens in my country.

  2. Paddy-O says:

“US facing second wave of 9/11 attacks Sez Arab Paper in London”

Not possible. Obama is much more competent than Bush and he has kept us safe from further attacks since 9/11…

  3. Raff says:

I know I’m scared. Thank god they are putting in all these cameras and detectors so we can constantly be monitored for illicit behavior. The only ones safe are those in prison.

  4. brendal says:

Biden warned us…say it ain’t so, Joe.

  5. fedup says:

This is bullshit. Just the left trying to scare us….

  6. ECA says:

    Can I ask,
Can someone find HOW MUCH the USA pays the UK, to guard international air traffic to the USA..

  7. Improbus says:

Well, they better do something soon. Fear is starting to lose its currency. Even the GOP couldn’t use fear effectively this year.

  8. Future Chaos says:

    Evolving Counterterrorism Strategy
“Terrorist morale is also sustained by propaganda portraying the 9/11 attacks as a great victory and America’s involvement in Iraq as a quagmire that will ultimately bring about the U.S.’s downfall. The connection between the destruction of the World Trade Center and the blow struck against the U.S. economy by the 9/11 attacks has been a persistent jihadist theme.(see footnote 20) It was repeated by bin Laden himself in the videotape broadcast on 29 October 2004, when he explained, ”So we are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. Allah willing, and nothing is too great for Allah.”(see footnote 21) Parallels are also drawn with the mujahideen’s defeat of the Red Army in Afghanistan, the alleged chain reaction it set in motion that led to the demise of the Soviet Union and collapse of communism with the current travails the U.S. faces in Iraq and the inevitability of our defeat there at the hands of contemporary jihadists. Indeed, al Qaeda propaganda has long described the U.S. as a ”paper tiger,”(see footnote 22) on the verge of financial ruin and total collapse much as the USSR once was, with the power of Islam poised similarly to push America over the precipice.(see footnote 23) Bin Laden emphasized this very point in his last publicly known address to his fighters in December 2001, when he declared that, ”America is in retreat by the grace of God Almighty and economic attrition is continuing up to today. But it needs further blows. The young men need to seek out the nodes of the American economy and strike the enemy’s nodes.”(see footnote 24) And, he repeated it again in the aforementioned videotape released just days before the 2004 American presidential elections. ”This is in addition to our having experience in using guerrilla warfare and the war of attrition to fight tyrannical superpowers, as we, alongside the Mujahideen, bled Russia for ten years, until it went bankrupt and was forced to withdraw in defeat. All Praise is due to Allah.”(see footnote 25) This strategy thus continues to guide jihadist target selection and tactics today.”

We don’t need to forgive them. Forgiving is up to God and we have the U.S. Marines and their job is to get them to God. My strategy is simple. Make lots of money and piss off the terrorist assholes.

“Before 9/11, for example, al Qaeda had only one website: http://www.alneda.com. Today, the movement is present on more than 50 different sites.(see footnote 28) ”The more Web sites, the better it is for us,” a jihadist statement posted on azzam.com in 2002 proclaimed. ”We must make the Internet our tool.”(see footnote 29) For al Qaeda, the Internet therefore has become something of a virtual sanctuary: providing an effective, expeditious and anonymous means through which the movement can continue to communicate with its fighters, followers, sympathizers and supporters world-wide.”

The problem with having one website is that you can’t make as much money. Al Qaeda has all these websites and none of them make any money, yet the idiots are going to bleed everybody dry. They’re bleding themselves dry and the idiots don’t even know it. Cyberspace is battlespace and the victory goes to those who make the most money. You would think Yahoo would be kicking ass. You can’t win them all. We need another 50 Yahoos and some more Googles too. Think decentralized. You guys could have a few more Dvorak sites and expand your options while increasing national security while making lots of cash. I’m having a cup of coffee. Have fun!

  9. contempt says:

Not to worry, Obama can solve any problem by his presences. The media promised this and we know they never lie.

  10. James Hill says:

An 8 year cycle, or simply the coming of a new President? I think the later.

  11. B. Dog says:

They’re just trying to sucker us into nuking them.

  12. doug says:

I imagine that AQ has spent most of the time since 9/11 planning more 9/11s – but the war in Afghanistan degraded their ability from what it was pre- 9/11 – so this does not seem like news to me.

  13. Montanaguy says:

Should be easy once the Obamination dismantles our intelligence/surveillance system under the guidance of his ACLU Kommandants.

  14. Future Chaos says:

    The Invisible Killer
Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.

You end up in a detox center with this stuff.

  15. doug says:

#13. shhh … don’t call him Obamination, Echelon will still be listening after 1/20 …

  16. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz says:

This is stupid. Last time it happens without warning. Why would they announce it this time?

  17. Improbus says:

    @Future Chaos

That is only funny if you understand the joke. You are over estimating your audience in this instance.

  18. Special Ed says:

I think they mean 7-11 attacks. No more store managers for you!

  19. Nimby says:

More FUD. Personally, I’m sure the new administration will have eliminated all terrorism before next ObamaDay.

  20. QB says:

    # 2 Paddy-O said “Not possible. Obama is much more competent than Bush and he has kept us safe from further attacks since 9/11…”

Grow up. My room mate from university (a liberal Canadian) died on 9/11 on the since he was an employee of Cantor Fitzgerald. Using such an asinine argument like you just used is like saying that the reason they attacked on 9/11 was because Clinton had left office and it was easy to attack since George Bush was there.

    Get a life. Seriously.

  21. OvenMaster says:

#8: “”We must make the Internet our tool.”, sez Al-Qaeda.

Hmm… since they think America is evil and want us all dead, I assume Al-Qaeda uses Linux instead of anything American, like Windows or any Apple OSes?

  22. Lou says:

    Whatever

  23. Paddy-O says:

    # 20 QB said, “Grow up. My room mate from university (a liberal Canadian) died on 9/11 on the since he was an employee of Cantor Fitzgerald.”

And, this has to do with Obama’s competency how?

  24. Jeff says:

The last I heard, Al-Qaeda was using Windows XP notebooks for all their important information storage. They don’t use encryption on any of their computers. The most sensitive documents are stored in the My Documents. Almost always, the notebooks are left at houses all over the Middle East and are found during random searches. It is kind of the same for their VHS tapes. It all sounds a bit strange, but what do I know… its not like my career depends on ratings that are connected to the finding of this information or anything.

  25. turbo says:

#21 “Hmm… since they think America is evil and want us all dead, I assume Al-Qaeda uses Linux instead of anything American, like Windows or any Apple OSes?”

I’m willing to bet Bin Laden is an apple elitist. Although, look at those propaganda videos they have, clearly they’re made by a PC.

  26. Improbus says:

    @Turbo

I am pretty sure that Bin Laden prays towards Mecca not Cupertino.
