We’re going to generally stay away from election stuff until after Tuesday, but this is too good. You just can’t make up crap like this. It symbolize the wackiness of this election season. As despicable as these people are, they at least don’t hide their prejudices like too many in this country.

If recent polls are to be believed, white voters favor John McCain over Barack Obama by nearly ten percentage points, but the McCain and Obama camps probably haven’t factored in the following fact: In an informal Esquire survey, three out of four white supremacists prefer Obama, while McCain is the clear favorite among black nationalists.

Here’s one of those they interviewed:

Rocky Suhayda, Chairman, American Nazi Party

“White people are faced with either a negro or a total nutter who happens to have a pale face. Personally I’d prefer the negro. National Socialists are not mindless haters. Here, I see a white man, who is almost dead, who declares he wants to fight endless wars around the globe to make the world safe for Judeo-capitalist exploitation, who supports the invasion of America by illegals–basically a continuation of the last eight years of Emperor Bush. Then, we have a black man, who loves his own kind, belongs to a Black-Nationalist religion, is married to a black women–when usually negroes who have ‘made it’ immediately land a white spouse as a kind of prize–that’s the kind of negro that I can respect.

And for the other side:

Yahanna, General, Israelite School Of Universal Practical Knowledge

“Finding out Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee for president was one of the saddest days in black history. Another legacy of black death is about to begin, just like it began back in the ’60s with probably the greatest traitor to black people in modern-day history, Martin Luther King.
[…]
The same way he threw away that Reverend, once he becomes president, he must throw away black people. He’s going to have to harm black people to make white people satisfied that he’s not Reverend Wright’s boy. The disappointment we’re going to suffer from him is going to set us back another fifty years. McCain is definitely the better shot for black people.”

What’s next? Has Palin got the Moose vote locked down? Does Nader have a group of ultra-capitalist car manufacturers in his fold?

#32…go to pollster.com. The analysis blogs are very interesting. Especially tonight, as today’s last-minute polls are published, the noise on the “fair and balanced” news channel comes to light. They cherry-pick polls that favor their guy/gal and slant all the analysis, to the surprise of no-one. Most other media outlets play it pretty straight, at least a lot straighter than those numbskulls at Fox.

After spending the last couple weeks watching and listening to Fox News, I don’t know how anybody can keep a straight face when they start that “fair and balanced” BS.

#27 Uncle Dave, you have nailed the sad but honest truth.

  3. MikeN says:

Sounds right. Jeremiah Wright was criticizing Obama a few months ago for disowning him.
Plus white racists would prefer Obama, because he would make black people look bad after his disastrous presidency.

  4. Mr. Fusion says:

    #21, Ah Yea,

Well said. I notice the bumpkin crowd disagrees but then they even disagree with which is the uglier.

The Democrats will have a big job ahead of them. They will need to create some jobs and that won’t be easy since so many factories have shut.

We might end up going part protectionist to protect us from countries that ignore human rights and labor rights.

Most of all look to see how quickly companies that move offshore get to keep their tax breaks.

#36 “They will need to create some jobs and that won’t be easy since so many factories have shut.”

It’ll be even harder after raising taxes on the businesses that create the jobs…

  6. Glenn E. says:

Yeah, as soon as I heard Obama was the DNC’s pick, I knew I’d hear someone say he wasn’t “black enough”. Turned out it was a McLaughlin on his stupid Sunday Tv show. But I’m sure a percentage of blacks thought the same thing. The problem with McCain is, he’s way too white, for someone from Arizona. How do you avoid a tan, in the hottest, most sun baked place in the US? Does he live like Howard Hughes, isolated from the outside? The real world? Palin’s got more skin tone, than McCain or his bleach white wife. Is america really ready for a couple of mock albinos living in the White House? And if Obama wins, will they be calling it the “Not So White House”? Guess I’m the first to coin that one, eh?

  7. MikeN says:

I can see Black Supremacist Clinton talking down Obama for years now. At least McCain will do well enough that Clinton’s electoral college numbers won’t be topped, and he’ll still be the most successful Democrat presidential candidate in 50 years.

  8. smartalix says:

I wonder if all the asshole Obama-haters (as opposed to people with honest policy differences) will stop sounding like such dickheads once Obama has some successes, because we all know they will watch for every stumble.

  9. Paddy-O says:

#40 I don’t know. I hope if elected he has some success by summer.

  10. Rick Cain says:

    Here’s what I don’t get about supply-siders.

They want to lower taxes for businesses, but if there are no consumers, the businesses go under anyway.

If you lower taxes on consumers, business goes up in any case because people have more money and will spend.

This is exactly why Reaganomics has never worked, but don’t try to convince a Republican of that.
