Oh no! Is this the end of Real America? I really liked this show.
“King of the Hill” is over the hill at Fox, which is canceling the long-running animated comedy.
Final episodes of the half-hour series, now in its 13th year, likely will air during the 2009-10 season, Fox said Friday. The network recently ordered 13 new episodes, and animated series have a long production schedule.
“King of the Hill” chronicles the life of blue-collar family man Hank Hill of Texas and his family and friends. Hank is voiced by series co-creator and executive producer Mike Judge. Others in the cast include Kathy Najimy, Brittany Murphy and Stephen Root.
The picture is brighter for another Sunday night animated show on Fox, “American Dad,” which was renewed for its fifth season. It has posted single-digit ratings gains among advertiser-favored young adult viewers and total viewers.
Ratings for “King of the Hill” have been relatively flat early this season.
Too bad there will still be reruns.
Let’s see how many times before has Fox canceled it and then brought it back?

LOL
When vacation-boy leaves the White House, who is going to care about Texas anymore?

If you really like the show you might appreciate this. I don’t know how the hell this ended up on you tube because there were very few copies floating around.
If you would like to know a little history about it I do have some stories to tell. That is if you have an email.

“Now I know who the inspiration for Butthead was.”
You finally looked in the mirror?

If you have to explain it, it wasn’t funny.

#10 I agree. Post # 8 wasn’t funny. That’s why I had to explain.
Post #8 wasn’t meant to be funny. Your explaintion in post #9 is exactly what I am talking about.
Yup

“I don’t know what gave you the idea I wanted to get a room with you. ”
Are you having fantasies again pedro?
“I’m not into that.”
Yeah I have heard that before and it is always a lie.

>>Maybe Mr. Mustard will.
>>After all, he’s a dirty old man.
Haw, ‘dro. Good one. Glad to see you’re keeping up with 60’s pop music lyrics!
Now be nice, or I’ll have my sister Polythene Pam (She’s so good-looking but she looks like a man) go after you.
Will not be sorry the show gets canned.

You guys…
King of the hill had a good run.
A nice show about a regular “Joe the plumber” middle western type of guy who votes conservative, independent, loves John Wayne, etc. A real blue collar kind of guy.
Now the times they are a’ changing!
I see a new show featuring a glib Northeasterner Liberal who complains about not getting his share of the wealth, wants to be nurtured by the Nanny States “Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country can do for you”, and believes everything MSNBC says.
A real Blue state kinda guy.

Wow! You really didn’t understand the show did you?

He is neither defending nor attacking anyone on that show. He views it more as cultural anthropology.
Seth on the other hand is a down right bastard 🙂

“Just as McFarlane has an athropologic view of a CIA officer.”
I really don’t think he views it that way. lol
He uses Stan as a catalyst for his thoughts on “Gung Ho” Americans.
At least arguing about cartoons is a break from arguing about politics.
Good, I hate that show.
I never killed anybody with a 2×4 until last night.
I forgot that this show was actually still on the air. My TV doesn’t get turned on until the King of the Hill credits run… so I can sit down and watch the actually funny “Family Guy.
