I see Obama finally got some joke writers to put together an excellent 10-minute gag fest. He should do this all the time. I just wonder how everyone has time for this two weeks before the election.

We watched this last night. His writers for this appearance were excellent.

  2. J says:

Hey John McCain was pretty funny too! It is the first time I have like him this whole election cycle.

  3. J says:

BTW John this is a regular thing every election. Both candidates ususally show up for it.

  4. ibdense says:

Both McCain and Obama were funny. Good writing. It did my heart good to see a little humanity.

Steve was funny, but McCain’s delivery was actually a little more relaxed. Sorta reminded me of how Bob Dole came across when he was relaxed and not being the mean old politician.

The old man over Obama’s and McCain’s left shoulder was hilarious. He kept eating through out JM’s routine. He looked like he couldn’t hear what was being said or didn’t understand it. (What the hell is a face book page?)

Looking at John McCain in the white tie and tails made me realize who he remindes me of. He looks a lot like Charlie Chaplin in his later years.

I’m removing my LLAMA’S FOR OBAMA bumper sticker and replacing it with one that says I BELIEVE IN STEVE.

  5. stopher says:

    Saw them both on CNN.

  6. Dallas says:

That was GREAT! I hope less Palin supporters now don’t want to kill him.

Too bad a Obama/McCain ticket did not happen (in that order).

  7. brendal says:

    My thoughts exactly, John…

  8. chuck says:

Obama demonstrates once again that he is very good at reading speeches.

  9. cmdr says:

As well written as that was, it looked like he was reading it for the first time.

  10. jbenson2 says:

    Obama – Hillarious?

McCain’s worst lines got a better reaction than Obama’s best lines. Obama comes across as a cold person with no sense of humor.

Maybe Obama was distracted by the latest polls showing his double digit leads vaporizing into a a statisical tie.

    AP 44-42 (Obama – McCain)
    Gallup 49-47(Obama – McCain)

Watching that older gent downing those brownies made me hungry!
