Here’s the cover.

This is hilarious! You just can’t make this crap up.

  1. #27 – O’Furniture

Yeah, man. Imagine the gall of those long-haired hippie-type pinko fags, publishing a photo of Palin WITHOUT AIRBRUSHING AWAY HER MOUSTACHE! Arrrgggghhh! No wonder the national debt is at record levels and we have school shootings.

And then they had the nerve to publish FIVE MORE photos of her:

And I’ll bet not a single one of them has ever felt the stroke of an airbrush or the digital tingle of Photoshop. GAK!

  2. A.Hitler says:

What is wrong with all you people? Palin should be your god?

I know first hand how the media tries to distort the facts. They always went out of their way to make me look bad. Always wanting to talk about the Holocaust and mass executions and stuff. Never, ever do they want to point out that I was always nice to dogs and children, or that I encouraged people to wash their hands after going to the bathroom.

The media is run by a bunch of people who are worried more about a few lives and not about things like Honor, Duty and everybody’s god-given right to shoot-up a Dairy Queen.

  3. The Monster's Lawyer says:

#28 con-man – Leave my parents out of this.

    [Har! – ed.]

  4. Mr. Fusion says:

    #27, Cow-Paddy,

And you never had any objectivity about you. Newsweek is a good, centrist magazine.

  5. #34 – Fusion

O’Pinocchio thinks any publication left of World Net Daily or the Anal Cyst Limbaugh web site is a commie rag.

  6. contempt says:

    #33 Monster’s Lawyer

Why? They speak of you often, but seem disappointed that you still live in their basement and only have a face for blogging.

  7. bonkersbrit says:

BLOODY MAD! Even the Monty Python guys couldn’t have thought of this.

  8. The Monster's Lawyer says:

#36 Connie – You’ve been hanging out with Seigfried and Roy? I thought they kicked you out of the circle jerk a long time ago. While I got you here, quit stomping around up there. You’re keeping me awake!

  9. stopher2475 says:

What a non-story. Picture looks great. “Your just going to have to trust us that this picture looks bad.” Huh? Fox News continuously reaffirms it’s status as punch line.

  10. contempt says:

    #38 Monster’s Lawyer

Actually they were in a recent Newsweek article talking about life’s greatest disappointments when your name came up. I’ll leave the circle jerks to you since it’s the one activity they claim you excel.

  11. The Monster's Lawyer says:

#41 condemned – You are now my bestest friend.

  12. contempt says:

    #42 Monster’s Lawyer

I can live with that, but no touching.

  13. a says:

Does she really need those glasses, or are those only to create an image

  15. ArianeB says:

OK, I photoshopped the newsweek photo, getting rid of the flaws and making her look younger.

    What do you think?

  16. schpoink says:

Let’s see a close up of Palin without the makeup.

    Whose screamin’ now?

    😉
    😉
    😉

  17. Mr. Fusion says:

    #30, Cow-Paddy,

    #29 “Are they?”

Yes, they are. I wouldn’t expect you to know much about journalism and related topics though.

    ???

No one here expects you to know much about anything. Especially the Constitution. You remember the part where you claimed that it was unconstitutional for Congress to regulate wages? Ya, well, you still haven’t shown us where in the Constitution that is. I keep asking so I can verify it, but you never answer. Maybe the answer is the same when you claimed to be in McKinney’s office.

Now why should anyone expect you to know ANYTHING about journalism or photo editing? You do realize I call you Cow-Paddy in reference to your bull-shit.

As I pointed out before, it depends on the magazine and the situation. Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Redbook, Playboy, and other “glamor” types magazines generally airbrush their models. Informative magazines and news journals such as TIME, Newsweek, Popular Mechanics, US, People, and PCWorld rarely airbrush or cosmetically edit their pictures.

  18. brendal says:

#48 I’ll let Steve Fox know that you are now dictating their editorial policy. I’m sure they’ll be in touch.

BTW, I’ve worked with Playboy – they’re not in the genre you’ve placed them, but am sure Hugh would be delighted to hear.

And, oh…you’re wrong…Newsweek ran a cover of Obama with a halo airbrushed around his head. But somehow, I saw flames.

  19. This is actually an incredible attempt by the republican party to take attention away from real issues like:

    Global warming
    Iraq
    Iran
    Russia
    The economy
    Health care
    Constitutional rights

And any number of other real issues that this country faces today.

The fact that Faux Spews bothers with this shit and that at least 50 comments have been made on this thread, my own included, shows that we the idiots can’t stay focused on real issues long enough to make one of the most important decisions we’ve ever made.

So, is Barracuda Barbie offended that they didn’t cover over her damn pores? I don’t give even one rat buttock, let alone an entire rat’s ass.

We’re at risk of having a president who crashed his plane three times, all through severe recklessness (and unfortunately failed to die in any of the crashed), bargained for a trip to the hospital by offering military secrets (according to his own memoirs), was instrumental in increasing the size and severity of a fire on board a ship and then watched from closed circuit TV as others died to put out the fire.

    Make-Believe Maverick

Or, he could croak on a moment’s notice and we’ll be left with an evil idiot who gave a small town a debt of $22,000,000 when they had previously no debt at all, and who supports and lobbies for aerial wolf hunts so that she can go shoot a moose burger, and who supported the bridge to nowhere and now denies it. (BTW, the bridge never got built, but she and Ted Stevens kept the money for it.)

What the hell are we talking about here?

  20. #50 – M. Scott

Wow. That’s a heck of a story in Rolling Stone, Scottie.

Should be required reading for anyone who thinks voting for McBush is a good idea. Whew! I knew he was a shitty candidate for president, but I didn’t know just how deep the roots of his malfeasance went.

  21. Mr. Fusion says:

#50, He actually lost FIVE, count ’em, 5, planes.

Your post is otherwise correct and I totally agree. The point has been already made and most people accept that McCain is about to crash again. He has blown any chance of being elected. As someone else commented, Obama will only lose the election if he kills and eats a baby on national television during an Iron Chef episode. Of course that won’t happen because they are all taped in advance.

It might appear to some that you give Palin more credit than she deserves. The only credit she deserves, in my opinion, is the money to buy a single bullet when she is feeling suicidal. Geeze, I’ll lend it to her myself.

This specific post though is about Palin’s mustache. Yes, as almost any woman over the age of 16, she has one. Small yes, but she has one. And FOX SPEWS wants to let the world know.

Oopps, gotta go, time for Keith.

  22. brm says:

    #44:

“Does she really need those glasses, or are those only to create an image”

Are you serious? I’m guessing she wears glasses because SHE CAN’T SEE WITHOUT THEM. God forbid those of us who need them have a preference for glasses over contact lenses. We’re all just trying to look smarter!

    Get. Real. You idiot.

As far as not touching up the photo, I guess you’d be mad too if they kept ‘shopping your opponent’s pics to make him look like he’s got sunbeams radiating from around his divine visage.

  23. no axe says:

    #48 Mr Fusion

    Re constitution

Wrong question, in theory powers are not given to the people, the constitution gives very specific limited power from the people to the federal government.

Thus the correct question is show me where the constitution gives the feds the power to regulate wages NOT where it prohibits them.

So it is up to the feds [and therefore you]to prove they have the delegated power–if not specifically delegated–then they dont, and the power remains with the state

Of course the supremes have on many occasion taken very liberal view on extending the meaning of some of the clauses so that a document in rather straight forward common english means a lot more than the words that are there — and perhaps things never ever intended by the authors.

When I read the constitution and I do not see that the document vests the govenment with the ability to control wages. In fact the founding fathers never gave the govenment the ability to tax wages let alone control them.

In fact we probably shouldn’t have an airforce without a constitutional amendment delegating such power. An army airforce and naval aviators would be in line with the constituion but a separate entity equal to the army and navy should have had an ammendment creating it IMHO.

  24. Jonathan says:

Nobody has taken the time to mention that, in the US, it is quite rightly, considered to be highly unethical for any news publication to retouch photographs.

On fashion magazines or in advertising it is OK, but for a news magazine, it would be completely wrong to alter the content of the pictures through retouching.

Of course if there was anybody from a journalistic background in the above discussion, who actually understood the situation, that would be understood.

The picture of Obama, BTW is not airbrushed either, the halo effect is caused by him being back lit by the sun. Clearly the women on the video, seems to think that was painted on after.

  25. monster says:

    idiots. they’re all fucking idiots

  26. Rick Cain says:

Why can’t women just shave those things? its a myth that it grows back thicker. it grows back the same way it grew in the first place.

  27. JimD says:

So what do the Repukes want, a cover with Sarah in CLOWN MAKE-UP ??? That would be CLOSER TO THE TRUTH !!!

  28. #52 – Mr. Fusion,

OK, five. I thought somewhere near the end of the talk about all the aircraft he lost, they put the count at three. I guess I kinda lost count of all of ’em, kinda like the way McBush lost count of all of his houses.

    #58 – JimD,

ROFL!! Barracuda Barbie dressed up as Bozo Barbie. I love it.

Or, perhaps the fact that she has gotten this far means that all of us should be wearing the clown make-up.

  29. Dallas says:

Very few people are aware that Palin had a huge booger in her nose and it was Photoshopped out.

Just sour grapes by the GOP that their hand picked beauty queen to run the country looks like shit up close.
