Oh well, he can buy his own gym now…won’t have to work out with us peasants.

  2. Libertican says:

First, she said that he was “knocked out cold”. If he was on a treadmill and got punched unexpectedly, he probably went down hard due to the moving base that he was on, not the power of the punch.

Second, regardless of your opinion of Mr. Fuld, I hope we don’t start to enjoy stories of physical violence in the workplace for perceived wrongs.

  3. George says:

Why stop at punching? Why not disembowel him, and then have him quartered? Parade his head on a pike on Wall street.

Will that make you feel better? Is that going to turn around the catastrophe that reckless lending by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac at the behest of the Clinton administration and congressional Dems caused?

  4. brendal says:

I certainly don’t condone violence, but if I were him, I’d leave the country and/or get some bodyguards…

  5. bugeyemonster says:

#3 your an idiot. Clinton signed the deregulation bills that were passed by a republican senate and house that could have easily overriden a veto.

I would also like to say give the guy a medal that punched him.

  6. Read says:

“Why stop at punching? Why not disembowel him, and then have him quartered? Parade his head on a pike on Wall street.

Will that make you feel better?”

No it won’t but it might give pause the next time around.

As the French say, “Pour encourage les autres”

  7. JimD says:

Here is the ONLY WAY to rein in CEO EXCESSES !!!

    Proposed New Income Tax Rates:

    Under $50,000 No Taxes

    Under $100,000 5%

    Under $250,000 10%

    Under 500,000 25%

    $1 Million and over 90%

    $10 Million and over 99%

Include all compensation – cash, stocks, in-kind payments – now and deferred …

Move the TAX BURDEN WHERE THE MONEY IS !!!

Never speak French to a republican:
It wastes your time, and annoys the republican.

  9. echeola says:

#6 That tax schedule is a horrible idea. Why would anyone bother to succeed in this country if the government was going to take away all of their money?

Would we have companies like Microsoft or Google?

I think we would see a brain and capital drain out of the US.

  10. JimD says:

#8, echeola, I doubt it. Check out the Historical Info ….

This Table represents a TAX CUT FOR ALL – EXCEPT THE MILLIONAIRES AND BILLIONAIRES !!!

  11. McCullough says:

#8 “That tax schedule is a horrible idea. Why would anyone bother to succeed in this country if the government was going to take away all of their money?”

I’ve been asking myself that a lot lately.

  12. Johnnycanuk says:

Flat tax rate for all except low income. Stop all the loopholes and vague, complex tax laws.

As for Fuld, he deserves to be in jail where a punch in the face would be the least of his worries.

  13. B. Dog says:

That punch in the face was real sporting. Why not a kick in the nuts?

Yeah, I could go for a flat tax. That would go for low income peeps as well. As long as the rich folks do the heavy paying, people will continue to put up with the guvment spending and getting big — too big for their britches.

  14. hhopper says:

I think the fairest thing would be a national sales tax. The more you buy, the more you pay.

That would get money from tourists and illegals too.

“Never speak French to a republican:

Surely the latter negates the former.

  16. #13 – SourPuss

    >>So lets see who that will hit:
    >>
    >>* Entertainers – who are paid based on what
    >> studio’s are willing to give them

    >>* Sports Stars – who are paid based on what
    >> sports franchises are willing to give them

    >>* CEO’s (Good or Bad) – who are paid based
    >> on what corporate boards are willing to
    >> give them

So far, it’s sounding pretty good….

Oh…wait… You mean NO MORE HANNAH MONTANA? No more grownups being paid millions of dollars to play little boys’ games? No more golden parachutes for deadbeat dimwitted CEO’s?

    ARRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

  17. JCA says:

    #7 JimD,

You just don’t understand the rich, do you?

The -really- rich don’t make that much in salary anyway.

  18. Hosehead says:

A flat tax or national sales tax is the only way! A times B equals C! That’s it!
No loop holes. No deductions! No anything else!
Same goes for corporate taxes. Income * rate = tax. No hiding anything. We can keep a few IRS people to make sure income is being accurately reported, then free the other 90% to get jobs where they can actually produce something which might add to the GNP, not bleed it.
Do ANY of you have even the slightest clue as to the dollar amount of your taxes – BEFORE you resort to paying someone to figure it out?
Of course not, and apparently that’s how they want it. There are 60,000 plus pages of tax code (and you are responsible for knowing and following each one when you sign your 1040).
Special interest tax breaks and attempts at social engineering are the only reasons I can figure for this. And all it does is breed contempt and distrust of the whole system.

Americans pay someone upwards of $100 just to get their $200 tax refund and think they are doing OK. The average small business owner must spend hundreds of dollars and/or hundreds of hours of labor simply complying with the tax laws. I almost don’t care what the rate is, just make it a SINGLE DAMN RATE FOR EVERYONE, over a certain minimum.

Why we let them do this to us is beyond me.
The House of Representatives are the only ones who can originate tax bills, and they are up for election every damn time. We need to put people there who will.

  19. LibertyLover says:

The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all.

That all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished.

Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people. We therefore demand the total confiscation of all war profits.

We demand the nationalization of all trusts.

We demand profit-sharing in large industries.

We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.

We demand the creation and maintenance of a sound middle-class, the immediate communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople, and the strongest consideration must be given to ensure that small traders shall deliver the supplies needed by the State, the provinces and municipalities.

We demand an agrarian reform in accordance with our national requirements, and the enactment of a law to expropriate the owners without compensation of any land needed for the common purpose. The abolition of ground rents, and the prohibition of all speculation in land.

We demand that ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury of the common welfare. Traitors, usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished with death, regardless of creed or race.

In order to make it possible for every capable and industrious [man] to obtain higher education, and thus the opportunity to reach into positions of leadership, the State must assume the responsibility of organizing thoroughly the entire cultural system of the people. The curricula of all educational establishments shall be adapted to practical life. The conception of the State Idea (science of citizenship) must be taught in the schools from the very beginning. We demand that specially talented children of poor parents, whatever their station or occupation, be educated at the expense of the State.

The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young.

We demand freedom for all religious faiths in the state, insofar as they do not endanger its existence or offend the moral and ethical sense of the [people].

    COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD

In order to carry out this program we demand: the creation of a strong central authority in the State, the unconditional authority by the political central parliament of the whole State and all its organizations.

The formation of professional committees and of committees representing the several estates of the realm, to ensure that the laws promulgated by the central authority shall be carried out by the federal states.

The leaders of the party undertake to promote the execution of the foregoing points at all costs, if necessary at the sacrifice of their own lives.

These are few things Hilter demanded in Mein Kampf. Anybody who believes that taxing the rich is a just cause is a Nazi, pure and simple.

The next time you think that because someone is getting something more than you (money, sex, whatever), think about Hilter screaming into a microphone and shaking his fist demanding these items.

  20. #21 – “Liberty” Lover

You’ve really lost it now. It’s strait jackets and rubber rooms for you from now on.

  21. Glenn E. says:

Back to the “punching out” item. As Nelson Muntz would say, “HA Ha”.

BTW, all of this will serve as a new business opportunity for those Black Water mercenaries. Protecting the rich scum of the earth, from the angry reprisals of the rest of the world. Yes, there will be a growing demand for bodyguards for all with golden parachutes. Maybe that will become the next perk, in lieu of a bonus. If you know martial arts, are willing to deflect a bullet or two, and work for a complete bastard. You to can earn some big bucks.

  22. LibertyLover says:

#22, Hey, man, I didn’t write the book and I’m not the one advocating the things in it like a lot of people are.

    If the shoe fits . . .

  23. Lou says:

    Good to hear.

  24. JimD says:

Hey, “Liberty Lover”, I guess you think Eisenhower was a “Nazi”, because he though the 91% tax rate during the Fifties was ok !!!

And here is another link about closing tax loopholes:

Of course, wouldn’t want to confuse you with historical facts !!!

  25. Bonehead says:

    LibertyLoser,

So someone infamous said something. Wow. I guess that makes any one that thinks the same thing comparable.

So if Joe Stalin, David Duke, and the Pope were for law and order, that would mean I’m a commie redneck religious fanatic.

Jesua H. Christ I hate stupid people that try the guilt by single association.

  26. Bonehead says:

And I hope Fuld is feeling a little better. Taking the law into your own hands is never a great idea.At least not if you like law and order.

  27. LibertyLover says:

Jesua H. Christ I hate stupid people that try the guilt by single association.

Excuse me, but did you even read the post? I don’t see anything in there that supports anything in the Constitution. In fact, everything in it is in direct opposition to the Constitution.

You either support the same things Hitler enacted or you don’t.

Or are you saying people are misunderstood because their message resembles Hitler’s policies? If so, what?

I can show a direct correlation between anything in that message and the current Democrat and/or Republican parties. And if you look closely, you can too.

Please, before you start defending the message, you need to think about what the message IS.

  28. JimD says:

“Liberty Lover” – If Ike were still alive and you called him a Nazi, I sure he would have PUNCHED YOUR LIGHTS OUT !!!

  29. LibertyLover says:

#31, Probably not. He’d be clawing at the top of his coffin wondering who turned out the lights.
