Question for you republicans…why didn’t the GOP select a lady with better credentials, say Katherine Harris, to run with McCain?
Wow I love the whining from the right side here. The problem is that McCain and Palin are just begging for jokes – in fact the jokes just write themselves.
The jokes about Obama and Biden kind of fall flat because, well, they act like grownups. Grownups are boring. For example, the Clintons aren’t grownups so it’s easy to make jokes and they deserve it.
And let’s be honest about something else. The jokes made by the right for last 20 years have kind of had a smug sophomoric feel to them. Unfortunately that stuff is kind of embarrassing and dated when it comes out a middle aged white guys mouth. You need a fresh approach. That’s why Fox and Limbaugh have become boring.
Palin has shown her true colors. She might not be totally retarded BUT, she still approximates room temperature IQ.
If McCain really wanted a woman on his ticket, someone like Senator Olympia Snowe would have been a great asset and very electable to independents.
If McCain got some bad advice from his “group”, that is his problem. Trying to foist this unsuitable person on the country as a viable Vice-President is not working.
McCain falls further behind in the polls.
