Cripes. Are we going to have to endure this sort of crap for the next 8-years if Obama wins? I’m not sure what the point of this is exactly, but it’s not a parody and as far as I know they already have the Berkeley vote.

    Let’s see…
    Hitler Youth
    Chinese Olympic Communist Youth
    Cuban Youth
    Palestinian Youth
    Obama Youth

    Sound about right?

  2. Moose says:

And the arguments against his candidacy get more inane still. Really, I didn’t think people could find more silly, pointless reasons to trash him, but I have to applaud your vigilance. The is a GREAT reason to vote for a half-dead senile serial lair and his dumb as a doorpost backup.

  3. JimD says:

It’s Rock the Vote, Junior Edition !!! A new generation with some sensitivity to Environmental Issues…

And what can the Repukes show us ??? Some Fat A$$ED CEOs at the Country Club, Imploding Closed Factories by remote control, and some Videos of JDAMS blowing up entire Iraqi or Afghanistani familes ??? McSame’s “100 Years of War in the Middle East” ???

  4. nahun says:

@Moose, I agree about the stupid arguments. They’re dumb and we don’t need them. Because I don’t like his healthcare, defense, global warming, education, immigration, tax, economic, and foreign policies.

  5. Ah_Yea says:

I’m so glad to see the youth of our country joining together in religious worship.

  6. Riker17 says:

#1 – Agreed, this is sickening and I can’t stand the use of hand gestures to emphasize the words. It is disgusting how children worship any politician they are instructed to worship.

  7. chuck says:

    Da-na na-na na-na na-na
    Leader- leader- leader!!

  8. mthrnite says:

    Creepy!

Quick, somebody cut this up with some Crystal Method or something. Where’s Negativland when you need ’em!

  9. MarkP says:

…and if Palin wins, we’ll have to endure the likes of Prussian Blue: “For the Fatherland!”

This little song the girls dedicated to Robert Matthews whose inspiring words they quote in the video:

“Give your souls to your Gods and load your guns, it’s time to deal in lead. We are the legions of the damned, the army of the already dead.”

Yeah, that Obama crap about “hope” is dangerous to our freedom.

  10. MarkP says:

You can watch Prussian Blue’s video here:

  11. Glenn E. says:

Ya know, he much younger than McCain. Not white, good old boy, old school, etc., etc.. It’s just vaguely possible Obama might have some better ideas as to how to be the leader of such an ethically diverse melting pot society as ours. Whereas McCain’s ilk is more of the same, for the rich, white, and well connected. Always looking out for the top 1%ers isn’t going to solve the country’s problem. H*ll, that’s what got us into this mess, on Wall Street. And I’m sure McCain knows more CEOs by their first names, than common folk. So I’d say on these points alone, Obama does better.

As far as being a better military leader goes. I don’t know that we’ve had one of those since Eisenhower, for a president. Why would McCain be a better choice, just because he was a POW thirty years ago. That’s like saying a guy who spend five years behind bars, is the best choice as some prison’s warden. Maybe in the movies, but not in real life. Besides, his backup, Palin, is possibly the worst choice as a military leader. And at McCain’s age, it’s something we’ve got to seriously consider.

  12. Scott says:

This is absolutely disgusting! These kids don’t know jack about the government and here they are making fools of themselves worshiping this guy. The only change those kids know include dimes and pennies…

  13. loconavi says:

    New Dear Leader = Obama!

This kind of shit is usually seen in North Korea and other totalitarian regimes. When you build up the guy so much, you can only go downhill from here on.

  14. Lou Minatti says:

The Obama campaign is very North Korean. First, set up Goon Squads for Obama and arrest those who say bad things about him (Google St. Louis Obama Truth Squad). Second, unleash the children who are brainwashed to praise the Dear Leader.

  15. Bobnation says:

    Wow … that’s sad.

  16. This clip is not about Obama. It’s about the kinds of creeps who will be lording it over us for 8 years. You know, the ones who dream up stuff like this.

Oh and #2, #3 — Nice bigoted rants. Keep it up. Shows the dark side of the debate well.

    NOW with high-fructose corn syrup!

  17. wumpus says:

Mr. Dvorak you best not let your negative vibes upset the master — his minions are numerous and they do not tolerate negativity.
I love Obama, he is going to save us all. hold on a second while I drink some grape juice…
Ah as I was saying, Obama will arrive on a white horse carrying a sharp two-edged sword, and he will have a crown…
For a second I thought the kids were singing praises to Jim Jones. I love it when people use kids to further an agenda; its very wholesome.

  18. MikeN says:

    >better ideas as to how to be the leader of such an ethically diverse melting pot society as ours.

Yeah, he’s real chummy with the radicals who blow up buildings. And he held poker games with lobbyists. Typical minority politician.

  19. Geoffrey Chalmers says:

Brought to you by the Church of Obama.

  20. Mark Parker says:

I still don’t get how syrupy sentimental videos of children singing about hope and peace and a future where people from different cultures learn to live together can be construed into PRK-esque authoritarianism.

You people need to get a grip. You’re hysterical. Seriously, Dvorak. You too… You’re freaking out about what?

“Oh my god! He’s inspired children to sing about peace and hope! Hide the women and children! Honey, get my gun.”

  21. Jordan says:

    Blast, the video is down.

  22. David says:

You guys are just way too gullible. This is obviously a setup by the McCain campaign to generate backlash against Obama. Do we know who organized this group? Where it took place? Cripes, people, come on.

  23. David, Actually if you look on the list of producers and directors it stems out of Hollywood with the main player (one of them) being the President of NBC Universal Jeff Zucker (aka MSNBC, etc.). This is not BS.

Funny how you’d think that though. Ask yourself why you think that. Go here for more information. The operation is called Sing for Change.

And as for you Perkel. Let me put it in simpler terms. I hate this sort of crap. Never knew you were such a moonbeam. It’s the worst kind of exploitation. Sing for change, my ass.

  24. Mark Parker says:

I instantly thought Santa Monica liberals with kids taken from one of their $30k a year private schools. It was totally sincere.

That still doesn’t mean you guys, Dvorak & friends, are not raving-mad hysterics over something that is silly at worse.

  25. aslightlycrankygeek says:

I don’t know what is more disturbing, this video or Alice Cooper returning to sing on the Late Late Show.

On the bright side, maybe if brainwashing is attempted at this age instead of waiting until they are in college, they will come to their senses at 20 instead of at 40.

Look… I think we can all agree that we are all screwed no matter who wins this.

  26. David says:

Okay, I stand corrected. But the first time I visited the website, there were no names or credits listed for anyone involved and domain was privately registered. Not that it would be the first false flag operation by a political campaign, or even a first for this election year. This does not reflect well on MSNBC in my humble opinion.

  27. Uncle Patso says:

Aw, geez, children singing — no one has ever used that before! How evil!

Don’t worry about the kids — it’s a _performance_, with practices, rehearsals, etc., not some testament of faith. I sincerely doubt their little minds will be permanently damaged. (Unless they go for music careers, of course.)

  28. Mister Mustard says:

    #21 – Jordan

Yes, blast. The video is down. 🙁

  29. MikeN says:

John, I’ve seen reports that this is a different Jeff Zucker.

  30. In Hollywood they have a lot of restrictions about people using the same names. It’s possible I suppose. I’d have to email them to confirm it.

But it sure does not look like a false flag site to me and if it is, then wow.
