Yes, yes, only a small percentage of cops are bad. But luckily, more and more they are getting caught on tape like these asshats. No wonder the Chinese government laughs in our faces when we complain about their suppressive/oppressive activities. Stones, glass houses and all that.

FYI, it takes a minute to get into the story in the video, so wait for it.

Fully agree. This was a very disturbing video… the guy didn’t resist and they just kept on pounding… 😛 The bad police officers should be prosecuted and if found guilty, thrown into jail and discharged, but unfortunately the police has the same problem as doctors… they don’t squeal on each other.

  2. deowll says:

I’m glad this was caught on tape and this isn’t going to have be settled based on human witness accounts.

  3. Jim Ed says:

    Filthy, sadistic whoreson pigs.

    Ho hum.

  4. GregAllen says:

After Mark Fuhrman lied under oath and allowed a murderer to walk free, I concluded that some cops must do this often often.

It wasn’t Fuhrman’s lie — it was the boldness of it. It was the lie of a guy who lied often without ever being fact-checked.

(conservative talk radio was a perfect career switch for him)

  5. Balbas says:

Remember, though, that police routinely, nationwide, arrest people filming them.

If I am recalling this properly, the US Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision claimed that Freedom of the Press only extends to ink-on-paper press, not TV or radio — and the decision had something to do with police who didn’t want to be filmed.

    1. Fighting real crime = Looking to bust scalpers.
    2. Jumps a guy that runs a red light on his bicycle.
    3. Arrests him and lies in court.
    4. But oh wait there’s video of you and your thug friend kicking the shit out of him
    5. There’s an Internal investigation in progress… (desk job with pay, most likley)

Yeah thugs hired by the state being paid with the peoples taxmoney is really a fine thing.

These f**king bums would be flipping my burgers all day if they where accountable for their actions like every other business is in society.

  7. bobbo says:

On deep undercover to bust ticket scalpers and they break it to go after a bicyclist running a red light huh?

Bad Cop, Bad Cop—what you gonna do? I sure do hope, there is film on you!

Yep==they are criminals and should be prosecuted. In view of their profession, the stresses and what not, I do think the USA should establish a “cop-jail” for this special category of criminal to go to. Its not right to put them in an environment of people they have too often treated so poorly. Special morality counselors could staff the place with a daily emphasis on the Golden rule. Thats the ticket.

  8. chuck says:

It’s about time these red-light-running cyclists get what they deserve! Damn hippies, with their long-hair and ipods!

  9. Li says:

#9 Ha! We agree once again. It’s hard to go wrong with “If you don’t like it done to you, don’t do it to other people.”

  10. GetSmart says:

America needs my new personal protection product, the Video 12! A clever combination of semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun and integrated full color low light video camera. When the authorities attempt to violate your civil rights, you’ll have video evidence that it was without a doubt, self defense when you were forced to blow their pointy heads clean off as the uniformed thugs reached for their weapons.

  11. raddad says:

I don’t buy the premise that only a small percentage of cops are bad. From personal experience (mostly traffic stops) I would put that percentage closer to 50. One backwoods Utah cop screamed at me for having tinted windows.

I take a longer route to work because they prowl a two year old construction zone on the more direct road (developer went belly-up and so it sits collecting double ticket revenue).

Cops are just another thing to avoid. If you’re a victim of a crime they might show up and fill out some paperwork. Their main purpose is to extort money for local and state government.

  12. eyeofthetiger says:

Now don’t get me wrong, I think these cops should be prosecuted for assault since their use of force was way beyond what was needed. But really, think about this, that guy admitted he knocked the hat off the UC after he told him he ran a red light. Was he not expecting a fight? Knock a mans hat off and I’d expect some gun play – that’s just life in the city.

  13. it's just an expression says:

I thought it was only a small percentage of cops get caught.

  14. Lou says:

Under the jack boot of your local PD.
How many other bad apples never appear on tape ?

  15. Mr. Fusion says:

The video surfaced on August 13. This is a week and a half later. What the hell are the internal affairs investigators waiting for. The cops claimed, under oath, they did not do something. A video of the incident clearly shows they did. Why haven’t they been charged with assault causing bodily harm and perjury. If it was a citizen, by now they would have been charged.

  16. Hempman says:

I haev to say that most cops are bad cops. Many may not go to the extent that the cops in this vodeo do, but that does not mean that they are not bad cops. Look at it another way, if you or I know about a criminal and do nothing, that makes us into criminals after the fact at the minimum. If we know that someone has a criminal lifestyle, and that they always shoplift, for instance, that can even implicate us in the actual crime. In the least, it puts our morality in a questionable light. Most cops know that there are bad cops, even criminal cops, but consistently not only do nothing about it, but even come to the protection of the immoral or even criminal cop. That makes them bad cops, too.

  17. ECA says:

AFTER you sue the city, you can sue the COP personally..

I would love the idea of Cameras on the public.
    IF’
For every camera installed, there is 1 for EVERY Position in the State and fed offices INCLUDING those holding Offices..24/7..

  18. SOI Guy says:

Only a “small %age” are bad ? Who made that determination ?

    I see bad cops everywhere… 🙂

  19. victim Ofjustice says:

Police only become police because of the ability to have power over someone else, the pay isn’t that much, but you can run red lights, beat people and steal their dope. It doesn’t get any better than that for most of the folks in the police force because they have the IQ of a donut, thats why they like them so much.

Police are useless, I’m 68 years old and I’ve never had anything good come of any contact with the police and I’m an old white guy, I’d hate to be young and black, thats like an invitation to a beating from what I’ve seen on the news.

I think we should lay off half the cops and if the crime rate doesn’t go up, lay off the other half as well.
