France’s far-right National Front party has agreed to sell its headquarters in a chic Paris suburb in a bid to raise much-needed funds.

Le Parisien and Le Figaro dailies said the cash-strapped party — known for the anti-immigrant stance of its charismatic leader, Jean-Marie Le Pen — has signed an agreement to sell the property in the western Paris suburb of Saint-Cloud to a Chinese university.

The reports did not give the name of the university, but said it is based in Shanghai.

A National Front official, Jean-Michel Dubois, insisted the sale was not contradictory to the party’s longstanding anti-foreigner platform.

These xenophobic dolts run all their blather about hating foreigners; but, when it comes to turning a buck [or a euro], money talks, everything else walks.

    Sounds like a neo-con.

Hehe… The Chinese are buying France, one property at the time. Ni Hao Qing Wa!

So are the Dutch, British and Germans. In fact, the big advantage that France’s outrageous taxation, ridiculous amount of rules, and bureaucracy that makes the Soviet Union looks like a libertarian paradise, is that anyone isn’t raised in France is almost certain to have more money when it comes to buying property.
