On your show, you mentioned that the Nokia N78 is using a proprietary USB connector, but that is simply untrue. It uses a micro-USB connector, which is a standard connector used by many devices. Just as SD has mini-SD and micro-SD, USB has mini-USB and micro-USB connectors.
Before complaining about a product, maybe you should check your facts.
