I’ve never seen a stunt copter before. This is not a new video, but quite interesting. It’s a Eurocopter BO-105 CBS 4 Twin engine unmodified helicopter.

I’m buyin’! How much does it cost?
That’s not a stunt ‘copter. That’s a disaster waiting to happen ‘copter.

Not sure if I’d love or hate to be a passenger in that there ‘copter but wow! I never knew they could even do some of those moves!
Wasn’t that the helicopter that made 9 Gs? I think it was some sore of record…
Looks like the sort of stuff I used to do when I was learning to fly a chopper.
Wifey made me accompany her in a trip on a military helicoptor, doing stunts while on honeymoon in Capetown. The pilot blasted out songs like “You’re in the Army now” suddenly at top volume every time he was about to do another sickmaking turn or go over a cliff and straight down.
That was over a year ago and I’m still dizzy.
Call me when it does the outside loop.
It’s not common to see these stunts, but they’re nothing new. I saw a tape of these tricks at least twenty years ago.

As an ex-heli pilot I’m impressed by his lack of concern for his mortality. But I would never fly with him. Up here on the north west coast the weather gave me all the excitement I needed.
i was more impressed with the stunts done in the mid 80’s Airwolf episode Natural Born.
THe copter is used by RedBull company during its air races. The helicopter has some unique features with respect to the rotors and controls. Quite a piece of engineering. If you think that guy flying the helo is nuts, check out the race plan pilots! http://www.redbullairrace.com/
My nipples got hard just watching the video. I could only imagine the boats in that bay looking up at that spectacle.
That machine is made to fly like that. If you try that on regular heli, rotor will be chop up the fuse!
There are alot of special helicopters are capable of doing that.
That helicopter is doing this routine every day this week at the big Oshkosh airshow.
