This story is on the first half of the video followed by a couple of other stories.

  1. Brett says:

    Obama, Clinton, McCain

    SAME BULLSHIT, NO CHANGE

    Obama is a good con-artist.

But if you really wanted change you had your chance and his name was Ron Paul.

Unfortunately Americans are stupid once again.

  2. Jägermeister says:

They’re not called Faux News for nothing…

  3. bobbo says:

#1–Brett==your comment is as relevant to this thread as Ron Paul is to good government. What flavor was your koolaid?

  4. jbenson2 says:

A perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black.

MSNBC: the More Snotty National Barack Channel.

  5. bobbo says:

#4–jb==perfect? I haven’t seen Faux report on the errors of other channels. I will guess you think that makes them more dignified?

  6. Ah_Yea says:

The idea of news outlets just reporting the news has long gone out the window.

We all know that Fox is rabidly right while MSNBS is rabidly left.

It’s our job to examine all the angles to make an informed decision.

  7. #6 – Ah_Bullshit

    >>We all know that Fox is rabidly right while
    >>MSNBS is rabidly left.

If you really believe that, you must believe that anyone to the left of the John Birch Society is “rabidly left”.

  8. Likes2LOL says:

So, they can’t make their arguments based on the truth, instead they lower themselves to falsification and/or distortion? It’s a sad day for the fourth estate and American democracy when a station such as this chooses to deceive naïve voters and gets away with it.

Imagine the back-room conversations as they discuss how to ‘tweak’ what they want to put on the air — I don’t know how any self-respecting journalist could work at such a place.

  9. bobbo says:

#6–Ah Yea==you’ve been tagged. Covered with Mustard so to speak. You act like a Faux News Anchor. Lie to help the right, lie to injure the left, and then say they are both the same.

    Good job.

  10. Fred Garvin says:

Maybe Fox can gin up some fake documents a la CBS and claim they are “authentic,” despite all evidence to the contrary.

Every time a lefty spouts “Faux News” realize that they have spit bubbles forming on their lips and the veins on their foreheads are bulging out.

  11. MikeN says:

Fred, you should know that the people on this site don’t think the documents are fake.

  12. Floyd says:

#1 Ron Paul would have been change all right, but it wouldn’t be a good change. Libertarianism is a bad ideology…

  13. Likes2LOL says:

And another thing about Fox that rubs me the wrong way: You know how commercials on TV are louder than the programs to get your attention (and make you end up reaching for the remote)? Well, the Fox affiliate in my town has its audio level amped up over the other networks, so I have to reach for the remote every time I switch to/from Fox, too.

Crap like that just wears on you after a while, you know?

(P.S. Of course the CBS documents were faked, and Dan Rather deserved to lose his job over it.)

  14. Curious says:

    #12, Libertarianism is a bad ideology…

    Why?

  15. #11 – Lyin’ Mike

    >>Fred, you should know that the people on this
    >>site don’t think the documents are fake.

So. Lyin’ Mike. Are you claiming that Dumbya completed his “military” “service”??

Haw!! I knew you were a liar, but I didn’t realize you were a moron.

Holy fuck! I’m going to have to start caling you “Moronic Lyin’ Mike”.

And while we’re at it….what WAS that rectangular object under Dumbya’s jacket during the debates?

  16. Paddy-O says:

#10 “Maybe Fox can gin up some fake documents a la CBS and claim they are “authentic,” despite all evidence to the contrary.”

    That shut the loony left…

  17. Nielsen says:

I don’t guess it matters what MSNBC says. Nobody watches them. FOX has better ratings than all the other news channels combined.

Libs aren’t exactly the kind of folks that watch the news…or read…or think…

  18. Mister Mustard says:

    #16 – Patrick

    >>That shut the loony left…

    Uh, not exactly.

No one has EVER shown those documents to be forgeries; the worst that was ever said about them was that they “could not be conclusively verified”. Notwithstanding the spittle-flecked commentary by the DittoHead set.

And you gotta give Rather and CBS a break; after all, the documents only verified what everybody with an IQ over the draft age (18) knew all along; that Dumbya shirked his responsibilities during the Viet Nam war and used Daddy’s influence to allow him to snort coke and do shots of Jack while his classmates were fighting and dying in Southeast Asia.

That’s his legacy. Chickenhawk. With an emphasis on the “chicken”. Bawk, bawk bawk bawk bawk bawk bawk

It would be funny, if he weren’t responsible for the deaths of so many thousands.

  19. paproach says:

Because that’s so important and its really news. Gee, thanks MSNBC

  20. Mister Mustard says:

    #17 – Nilsson

    >>FOX has better ratings than all the other
    >>news channels combined.

Typical DittoHead bullshit. ABC, NBC, and CBS all trounce Fox “news”. Faux Spews may lead the cable news stations, but who the fuck (other than DittoHeads) relies on cable news for information?

    >>Libs aren’t exactly the kind of folks that
    >>watch the news…or read…or think…

That’s pretty funny, coming from a DittoHead. Since the right wingnut cable news/ talk radio thugs characterize all media (with the exception of right wingnut talk radio and Faux Spews) as “driveby media” left-wing commie pinko fags, who is their target demographic? All those right wing deep thinkers? Haw!!!

  21. Dittohead says:

    #17-Nielsen

    I agree completely.

  22. GregAllen says:

When McCain did his Middle East tour, he made American seem like a bunch of idiots. He didn’t even know who we were fighting in Iraq.

I am so tired of Bush making America seem like a joke on every overseas trip. No doubt, McCain will be just as bad.

Obama, in contrast, totally did his trip right. A spectacular success.

  23. GregAllen says:

    >> Brett said, on July 26th, 2008 at 3:20 pm
    >> But if you really wanted change you had your chance and his name was Ron Paul.

    RON PAUL?

You mean the guy who wants to sell off America, piece-by-piece to the multi-national corporations?

With such incredibly bad political judgment, no wonder you can’t tell the difference between McCain and Obama.

  24. FreedomFry says:

    Hey GregAllen,

The French love Oblaba – nuf said.

  25. MikeN says:

    >No one has EVER shown those documents to be forgeries

No it’s been shown quite conclusively. The fonts alone were enough to show this. You would know this if you read or think, or at least didn’t use DailyKos as your primary news source. Why don’t you give some reading a try. Come back if you would like a link.

  26. Paddy-O says:

    #18 Mustard “Uh, not exactly.”

You’re part of the loony left?

  27. Ah_Yea says:

#26, both Bobbo and Mustard must be part of the loony left if they think MSNBC is center, which apparently the do.

Bobbo, what esteem I had for you is quickly tanking. Yes, MSNBC is at least as far left of center than Fox and probably more so, and we have gone over this territory before.

Or has senile dementia kicked in?

  28. MikeN says:

They do have Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan.

  29. MikeN says:

By the way, what effect does MS have on MSNBC?

  30. Raster says:

Hilarious – Faux dated shots to make McCain young while they hide his gaffs.

McCain talking about the Iraq/Pakistan border, Czechoslovakia, mixing up the timelines – anybody else think this guy’s brain is melting?

Next he’ll say how much he admires Putin’s leadership of the USSR.
