The hunter becomes the hunted…

A HOMELESS man has been accused of posing as a millionaire on a dating website to swindle more than $100,000 from 13 women.

Paul Krueger, 50, allegedly used a laptop to sign up to MillionaireMatch, a dating website that offers “a premium service that caters to professionals with busy lifestyles, including those very successful ones”.
But Mr Krueger, based in Philadelphia, allegedly managed to sign up as a millionaire and pose as a Grammy-award-winning record producer with the username “imreadyru2007”.

He is said to have virtually romanced 13 different women, even boasting to one that he was in Scotland producing Michael Jackson’s new record, ABC local news reported.

Then he allegedly fleeced the women of their money by asking them to invest in his fictional record company.

The women sent money with a total value exceeding $US100,000 ($104,000) to an address in Souderton – the home of Mr Krueger’s ex-wife.

He was arrested last week at a casino in Atlantic City, where he had allegedly spent the victim’s money on his gambling addiction, authorities said.
