Is Vista really that bad?
Anyone have any idea what he was saying?
That egg guy is a jerk. I’m sick of europeans complaining about the ms monopoly when they have some of the worst offenders themselves. Look at the diamond cartel DeBeers. No one ever had a hand cut off over a copy of Windows.

There is no attempt to connect to the overwhelming body of people actually affected by the individuals and organizations supposedly targeted by these effete creeps.
Nothing is ever achieved except selfish spoiled middle-class babies patting themselves on the back. They are about as capable of changing anything as the average grafitti tagger or gangbanger. And that change is negative.
I have to give it to Balmer on this one. Although I don’t care for his management style and such, he did a good job of continuing on after this. It can be pretty unnerving to be in his situation.
I also can’t help but think that these kind of stunts help to create the Fortress Microsoft mindset I have heard so much about. I wonder if the guy throwing the eggs thinks that he is getting his point across to Balmer (whatever point he was trying to make, that is).
MS executives are getting spoiled… they all get free food.

Oh, I know! The guy throwing the eggs was just being helpful. By looking at Balmer, it’s pretty apparent that he usually scarfs a few Egg McMuffins every day or so, and he was just trying to help Balmer feel more at home!

#7, Jägermeister. A couple of good clips. I’m also not a huge fan of Tom Cruse, but he was certainly in the right on this one. I am also glad there were no couches in sight for him to jump on…
Watching these clips, it reminds me that there is a dangerous side to being a celebrity. I would hate living in fear, not knowing who could be waiting for me around the next corner with something that’s not a pie or an egg.
Steve Ballmer has a pretty good sense of humour! Too bad that Microsoft can’t change its ways. There are going to be more protests for sure!
@#12 what exactly are those ways? I find it interesting that anyone can have enough of a problem with microsoft to protest. if you don’t like the way they do things then don’t use their product.

If Zune compatibility or a BSOD is such a huge issue to you, then you need to get a life. Who held a gun to anyone’s head and made them purchase a Microsoft product?

Balmer is a proxy for Gates, but it’s obvious that Billgatus of Borg pulls the strings. He only rates eggs (better rotten), now if the Big B.G. would’ve showed, they’d’ve had pies. The animosity of the public is a result of MS’s marketing strategy, that is to eliminate or absorb all competition. They’re the victims of their own ‘success’. Now they look like the Nazis of the software biz.
I don’t especially care for Microsoft as a company, nor do I use their software, except in the rare instance that there is no other choice. But this is no way to have an open and public discourse, and I hope that the extremely rude young man from the video is punished accordingly.
Agreed, in the US he would have had his balls tasered off just for the shirt alone.

Like 25, I am by no means a neocon, nor a MS lover, but to think for a second that egging a company official is any sort of a reasonable response shows just how moronic you are.
If you want to protest, stop buying MS products, get everyone you know to stop buying them. Throwing eggs at someone is just childish and screams ‘look at me!’ without trying to change anything at all – probably the same attitude you have, except you don’t have the nuts to try it, do you?
Um, do that over here and you get hit with a taser or shot…I should move to Hungary, they just let you walk out

#1: Actually, once patches are installed, Vista is a pretty good, stable OS.
If there’s any problem, it’s that you have so much freedom to configure the OS that someone new to Vista will get lost. I’ve had a laptop with Vista for 5 months, and I still have to search for some configuration screens.
